Speaking My Mind

Speaking My Mind is about: Tobi, who is a middle aged, no, oh all right a slightly over the hill woman with all the imperfections that go with that, and this concerns her daily life's perceptions and experiences.

I am nothing if not mostly honest...

...last night's blog was a remarkable mess that I felt needed a redo, big time, and so I did and reposted it a while ago.

You see, I have glitches in my brain that short circuit when I try hard to not let it happen and that I attribute that to the MS, and besides that I am very sleep deprived according to my CPAP, the machine for my sleep apnea said that I had an hour and half of sleep, and that was in the last three nights!

Whoa, and yet today I was able to edit the mess somewhat to coherency, Geez I really hope so.
Every time I go back to read these things I find more mistakes, and these days there over nine YEARS worth, but I only look at the one's others are reading, and not often, since that would be a compulsive disorder!

I think with last night's I will leave that one alone... for now.

Although, I have been known to pull one's that I see on my Google screen of mine that other's have read then, and I go to read it and find more mistakes and go into it again and edit, and some are years and years old!
Well, that is what happens when you have too too much time on your hands!

Good Grief! I must move on...

The new restaurant was actually not that different than the other Jack's on Marion since they kept their servers and bar people with a contract for an additional year when they all get to review the terms and decisions will be made at that time to stay or go, either by the employee or the owners/management.

That said the new name is F.M. DON'S, in the heart of beautiful downtown Punta Gorda Florida, but our Visa bill on our bank online said that it was still Jack's on Marion, guess they just renamed it, although... here it is:

F.M. Don’s – Punta Gorda Restaurant

The best part is they kept their great Calypso soup, my favorite but I did try another soup, and brought half home of that one, too good not to save and had it for lunch today and Hubby was still able to get his roast beef au jous sandwich though with provolone and no spicy French fries, and Hubby went into curmudgeon mode, even with arms crossed over his chest. He wanted to leave and go elsewhere to Fisherman's Village he complained he wasn't eating there he does not like change! But in reality it was only their name and a few different items on the menu, the cast was the same and the show had an additional revised script?
Gosh, with Hubby acting like that I was having a mini flashback to one of my little darlings; I won't mention here, but it wasn't Number One, uh oh, anyway misbehaving so badly we had to remove him from the restaurant. So I took him outside and gave him a harsh talking to and then he behaved and we all ate just fine.
Could not and would not do that to my Hubby, he wouldn't have any of it!
I just held my ground and even said I would try something different and I did their Fisherman's Chowder, and he calmed down and relaxed and got a salad instead of fries with basically the same sandwich. They serve cold water from a decanter, like in the very expensive restaurants do too, so fancy!
We go there for lunch which besides the yummy food are the people who work there we had the same servers as always CC and Sarah, yay they see to your every need!
Oh and yes they do serve all meals and have private parties and catering too!

Recommended a must try next time you are in Punta Gorda Florida!
https://fmdons.com  Just in case all those others do not work.

Have a very happy good night and share all those blessings and we will too!

And next time please be here or be square, ya hear!

Ah sweet slumber...revised and making more sense?

...on occasion, chooses odd times to appear for that seemingly difficult time to capture that attainable luxurious, but simply needed for refurbishing of the body's tissue and muscles and it is called sleep!
Good night, make that a happy one.

Oh wait there is more... since I am now still awake and going on day three of that.

Additionally to last night's personal  HIPPA protected expose I had been told when all was over and done and I was home to call the poison control bureau, and so I did and the woman there, Sylvia, my Mom's name told me to drink plenty of none caffeinated liquids, and thought that hospital had done that.

Today was fun filled and I was not hungry and took all normal medications and I do believe that I am on tract to feeling better, according to what I read it takes four days for the medication to neutralize.

I had toast with Polaner orange marmalade and a slight smear of unsweet butter, no coffee just that!

After my interview with the psychologist, yep I said I was going to turn the tables, Geez I hired enough people in the day, anew to me doc and not finding out too much about her other than her being very patient even with this patient's incessant talking, more so from lack of sleep. So this tall lanky, must be at least six foot tall without heels, blonde attractive former New Yorker whose husband is a surgeon, actually listened to me. Not faking interest at all, or maybe, nah, and asking me to stop and repeat what I was telling her about so that she could write it all up; i.e.my life and family too that I had been asked to tell her about.
I have a first cousin who also has been a psychologist for about forty years in St. Louis too and even our Number One's gal is too, and I did take a few years of psychology, and this is my fifth time going to a head doctor, a shrink, ha. After my Mom died, in eleven and half hours from a massive stroke, after our 16 year old Yorkie died and also our son became estranged and our home was destroyed by Hurricane Charley with us in it all three incidents within three months time  then saw one doc for that, next for when I found out I was getting worse from MS the beginning time, as a pre cursor to bariatric sleeve surgery, and now.
And she asked why I first cancelled, but not why I changed my mind. Interesting tact in questioning method. My response was also why they that is my neurologist thought I needed one that is a psychologist, depression was my other goto probability.
Well, it turns out that Dr. Karin Galiano has a sister- in- law with Multiple Sclerosis, and many of her patients also have MS, and she deals with all the uncertainties of this disease and how to help you handle them, although this PhD is very clear that it is about you! I was duly impressed.
I was given the option to come back whenever, if I want to. I did act like a bit of a wise gal with my quip of denial works as well as my other standard my attention span is too short for me to harp on the negative.
She was truly so pleasant and non-intimidating, a real person that appears to respect the people that she works on/with to help and so I am not thought to be unjustly crazy after all... shush all... I can hear/ not really the undercurrent of voices in my head, ha saying, WHAT of course she is daft! Moi?

And so I might consider that open ended offer for in a  month's time, a maybe, with all that recently has happened I should try something else, so who knows... what I will decide when  I am more rested and not so very hyper from lack of sleep.

After the doctor, new doc boy so many... anyway, we wanted to go to Jack's on Marion, but it was under new management with a new name, F.M. DONs, with a very interesting back story, for another time though it is so late, have to post now!

Happy good night to all and to all share those blessings and we will too!

And next time please be here or be square, ya hear!

This is it, the "one" some, maybe many, I know of two anyway, that are waiting for this tonight, ha! The Hospital.

From after dinner I was a bit off, yes folks even more than I have previously have written here "off".
and I was able to write my blog though, but as usual after I posted I found more edit needs almost wrote edible, I suppose their is a word called editable, yes there is! And yes I do have my spell checker in the on mode, although I do not have any editor mode or real editor other than me a functional illiterate by some "English Majors" ideas of proper grammar, but I reiterate that some of the best authors actually were dyslexic, and had editors that got what they were expressing, any volunteers are welcome for that honor, nah going on ten years without that privilege and I am nothing about any privileges!

Sorry, I have gone off on my tangent again!

It turns out that I was acting as if I had a major MS exacerbation or I had returned to the womb and acquired cerebral palsy, yes and I do know from working with kids with a favorite cousin of mine at a church, yes a Methodist one other children had if I recall Downs and Autism way back in the late nineteen sixties, or early seventies, rewarding and exhausting! I didn't last too long, but to be fair in those days it was on my day off from work as a credit manager for Lord and Taylor's.
No excuses, not really for me anymore! It did begin my forty years of on off volunteering.

Any-who those were my symptoms legs like rubber, so bad I could not even use the walker to my landing sights in our tiny but apt home! ( definition of my landing sights: wherever in the house I had a seat to rest upon.)
But it was me getting up with a headache in the middle of the night with a headache and my cure due to all my meds was caffeine in the form of black coffee now with Splenda, instead of stevia, supposed to better for CKD, which I was dx with stage three not too bad, but...

So, I broke my favorite mug, by accident and oddly for someone like me with LA, Lupus anticoagulant, not meaning having Lupus but people can have it and not that you do not clot you clot too easily and by way too much, thus my hematologist, oh and that nephrologist too now.

Anyway, in my foolishness to prevent Gus, rescue Havanese mix dog, from getting the pieces I bent over to retrieve the first big piece, and I cut into my pointer finger the one next to the thumb and I wrapped a paper towel around it, but I was dripping as my adrenalin pushed me with blood gushing all over the place, and no that was not why I was thereat the hospital, it was for the other reason rubber legs and floppy arms, and below descriptions, but even the nurse at the hospital bandaged my finger with gauze, since my now band aided finger over an hour later was leaving large red horror show stains on their white, oh those white sheets again, as it ran down my not so large finger, but white does truly go with everything!
But never over one's head please with eye holes, gosh the children dress for ghosts like that at Halloween!
Sorry, I went off topic again, just thinking out loud again.

The trip there was exciting since I rode there in an ambulance, but I was out of it due to how I was; even my speech was slurred and I had a left sided smile meeting the criteria for possible stroke and had to close my eyes since bright lights do hurt them too, that is before and still.

They did a CAT scan and it was negative, so no stroke was found, not even a TIA, that I did have in 2006, but the blood work showed that my GFR was slightly lower than before, and the urea nitrogen and chloride were high, meaning in my blood, thus the CKD and slightly worse. They monitored my heart, etc. all normal and even, also I forgot my blood clotting was showing it was not there by that test, and believe it is there, two tests twelve weeks apart for that one!
But I was bleeding like that? But the bleeding was in the blood work too!

Now, they felt it was a medication over dose and they, but we all thought that is the doctor, the nurse Hubby and I thought all that the four 300mg. of Gabapentin and now 80mg. of Baclofen were not spread out enough. I confessed I forgot my afternoon dose so took my third dose of Gabapentin capsule two hours before my fourth dose of it again for the day of the day, a fluke but possible! And I had taken the four separated sections upside down in my pills' holder, so I started with night time all by mistake also, what a mess!

We got home via private ambulance since I was still unable to move my arms well up, but they would flop down, horribly, so I was released and got home around five A.M. and Hubby found a plastic cup and straw to put lukewarm coffee in, all they gave me at the hospital was liquid Tylenol for my headache with hot coffee Hubby held for me, yep that bad!
All issues a glimpse of my future with my MS, not a positive, let me spin that as a positive, handicapped old people should make room for healthy young people on their health insurance; see I did him proud; not true, false media from my end, ha!

I diverted my attention unintentionally, oops, although, by around seven, I never did go to sleep,  I was feeling better a little anyway. I went into my before breakfast medication that I noticed an extra pill, and it turned out to be another 40mg. Simvastatin/Zocor, and so when I took my night before one and now a morning one, by mistake with all those handful of pills that I pack and then that was 120 mg. when I took my last night usual one, got so bad this morning!
Here's what I found, and called the ER to let the doctor know I took so many of that Cholesterol drug!

Please tap to make larger to read, scary huh?
Be careful!

Horrible or Hilarious, you be the judge...

This is what I ordered from Tar-jay, Target,
 online...
tap on the picture to read the words.
Smart Cool Microfiber Sheet Set in King (mattress bed sized).
While trying to find out what happened to my "sheet set", try and say that 3X fast, ha!
Any-who the chat guy, who happened to be in India called the set: No K All White K King.
I said, "What?", it was not verbatim, but basically what it was.
Remember he was writing this in the chat, I was very upset, and the reason was he was saying the order was KKK, and the realization they must get those white sheets somewhere, it was HORRIBLE, NOT FUNNY IN MY BOOK!
And he never denied it.
Yes, America this is what the world is thinking of us due to our PRESIDENT!
So ignoring what is going on is, in my book, is no better than aiding and abetting the hate groups!
Remember WW11 folks?
Prior to that odd sense of humor guy when first ordered I asked about any PROMO CODE discounts and any others senior citizen or AARP?
Meanwhile, sheets are coming without delivery charge and AUGUST PRO MO CODE until the end of the month folks at 15% discount for  the above KING SIZED SHEETS IN WHITE SMART COOL MICROFIBER for just $27.28 including taxes and NO delivery charges!
Hubby used their main number to tell about the KKK incident, but instead of the Minnesota number the main office where the man in India said it was, Hubby got a man in Arizona and they were one of the top ten states on the most bigoted states, but he sounded sympathetic and he also called about my missing tracking number that turned out to be only was missing a letter and after I am done here I will try it again; it had come in an email and I did copy and paste it.

Next issue, not so terrible.
La Quinta Inn Tampa made reservation for an extended weekend, four nights vacation this fall.
The first hotel had a great price for under four hundred by using booking.com, it was $381 +change, but there was no guarantee for my necessary roll in shower until arrival, I booked it anyway, but Hubby set me straight and said that wasn't right, and I said we could also take my walker for in the room.
He was insistent, since I am already worse, so we cancelled  the one and when Hubby called to complain to the main office of La Quinta Inn in Albuquerque NM, and it was 82 degrees there hot for them, anyway we made another Tampa actually Temple Terrace next to the University of South Florida, around the corner practically from Busch Gardens!
Our Number One works there, see him and maybe go there and to the MOSI, Museum of science and industry, and not far from the Holocaust Museum in St. Pete.
MOSI is not included in the Bank Of America freebies but who knows we might go, #1 might still have some free passes left for Busch Gardens and it might/could be cool enough by then?

Anyway that hotel was even $20 dollars cheaper with two double beds, microwave and fridge, cable and flat screen TV and definite roll in shower and pets allowed, and free breakfast and WIFI and parking!

Happy good night to all and to all share those blessings and we will too!

And next time please be here or be square, ya hear!

Spent the day like many, but with in a little bit different way...

...to accomplish the same thing watching the century marvel of a solar eclipse!
Hubby watched part of it as I had, but in two different locales. He was in the living room on ABC TV and I was in the bedroom, but also on ABC TV, and news man David Muir as host, and then later on we both switched to NBC TV and Lester Holt as the host, both were doing cross country coverage from Oregon on the northwest coast to South Carolina in the southeast the track of the eclipse.
Due to heat, triple digits feel like temps again and not even bothering getting glasses to view this century event we opted for watching on the TVs, and we did not miss any of it and felt safe and comfortable from where we viewed this historic astrophysical scientific event.
Always good to be informed.
After it was all over I could have kicked myself for not planning better, since we do have an observatory at our local college campus Florida Southwestern College in Punta Gorda that made the news that we were watching where people were watching right from there.
But all in all, we all seem to agree that the solar eclipse was pretty darn cool, by popular commentary!

Oh well... in actuality, we, did have front row seats too, in our own home, and I have been feeling rather poorly, so our choice was appropriate for us.
Arms weaker, shimmering eyesight as if in an earthquake vision, shaky!
Downright weird!
Tired, is an understatement.
Enough of that non-interesting conversation... my Dad's bowling alley, bar, snack bar and restaurant's name was the Eclipse. And no, I do not know if they named it and they, he and his three cousins bought in 1947 before I was born and oddly enough I never asked, why the Eclipse?
I suppose as I grew up I thought because it was mostly a night club and night time bowling alley, except on Saturdays when as a teenager I worked the snack bar at fifteen for the kids bowling league.

Dad's bar had a band at night with mostly Dixieland music, odd in Hasbrouck Heights NJ, and a dance floor too, with a screen that came down over the bar with lyrics to songs with a bouncing ball to sing along, a small stage that I sang at once. I do not recall why I never did again, but no one told me not to or asked me to again, well like last night's little story; not saying anything speaks volumes.
Although, I was Peter Pan at camp and my rendition of I won't grow up won us the pennant one week for our whole team when I was around ten. I also sang in school choir for seven years and led all the singing on the camp bus, so I guess I wasn't too bad.
I did take voice lessons from my neighbor, two houses down from us, who was Tuptim, her stage name was Rose Rosette in the original King and I on Broadway in  NYC with Yule Brenner and Jan Clayton as Anna. Her son Dean Friedman was my singing partner and we sang I am sixteen from the Sound of Music together although he was five years younger than I.
I guess my singing, dancing and piano lessons for many years of each were for the fun/joy of it all not a professional career!
Although, Dean Friedman, my singing partner via his Mom to this day he is a pro, he had a big hit in the early nineties, Ariel, and appeared on Merv Griffin TV Show, like Ellen show except he could sing and play the piano, and Dean still is a big hit all over the UK
I did not really tap into those experiences of living in a neighborhood with people who worked in TV and Broadway until I worked in a promotion agency in the early 1990's in Daytona Florida, as an entertainment manager, which entailed booking bands in clubs, hotels and colleges, reggae and alternative way back when,  as well as for special events for weddings and New Year's Eve etc, as well as for Bike week, old rock and roll, and NASCAR, country, even got to work with MTV and did makeup for local actors for a tourist bureau commercial and helped to cast actors for a national Old Milwaukee Beer commercial that among other things included an old Volkswagen bus and Winnebago driven on our beach that was what was everyone did and was allowed, before some horrid incidents/accidents occurred, although. people might still drive on it; we haven't been there for awhile. Passed through two years ago to see our two old houses beachside over the Granada bridge we lived a mile and half up A1A/Ocean Shore Blvd, one house down from there across the street from the ocean, 600 feet from it, where our boys surfed, and on the other side was the Halifax River where they water skied, fun years for our sons, who also had their SCUBA certifications too!

Those were the days... ah memories that I have written about before, boy I am getting very, very old when I repeat all this.
Sorry! Please forgive!
I recalled our Number One Son water skiing behind our Bayliner boat with dolphins leaping over the waves behind him. Gosh that was probably way back in the late 1980s when he was still a teenager. Our younger son who was also very apt in the sport was in the boat when it happened and we both pointed behind him, #1, Hubby was driving the boat, and Number One let go of the rope and we yelled for Hubby to turn around to pick him up; he had superbly landed on a sandy beach, but didn't know why we were yelling until we picked him up! All taped on our old filming super 8 camera, although where it is now, sadly I could not tell you! Though many a friend and family member was shown it countless times and found it really neat too!
One of my FB friends had posted one similar recently with a dolphin leaping the waves behind a boat that triggered that memory I suppose.

That is enough of that for tonight!

Have a wonderful happy good night and share all those blessings and we will too!

And next time please be here or be square, ya hear!

Being kind sometimes ... makes you

... wonder why people take advantage of you.
Today, I posted two things on my FB page that I realized fortunately not too much longer after I found my mistakes I removed them both.
The first was a movie that had quite a soon-to-be stars studded cast, but after revisiting certain reviews and comments about it I too recalled its underlying message, a far right one, survivalists, and pro NRA stand and so many other things that I today feel strongly against; mind you though this was still during the Cold War, before glasnost.
So my emotions were the cause of that to be pulled and in my mind was correct for me to do, Hubby on the other hand watched it, and so I was confused and upset about that, since he claims to feel as I do on so many issues...any-who the other one I was definitely just on, a fellow FB person asked through messaging for me to donate to his run for an organization that was to make people aware of the horrendous issue of suicide in the military, 22 veterans commit suicide daily was the horrid realization and it was an honorable campaign in my book and for this he wanted 22 dollars so that amount now makes sense/cense, anyway I even posted the picture with him and the article about what, when, why and where this would be happening, sounded good and probable, but... when I went and posted it that little gadget came up asking if I wanted to add in that thingy on where to send the donation, and they were nowhere on their list for non-profits and so I went back to the fellow and asked about it, and he said they were in the process... And I said how about this when they have that info I will post the info? I consequently unfriended him, harsh, I think not, a ruse, probably. He only came clean when I mentioned Hubby was retired law enforcement.
I am so sorry if anyone read those two postings, but again I did think I was doing something right, and almost contributed to very wrong things that'll teach me/us!
Beware of strangers trying to sell you a sow's ear as a silk purse!
Seriously folks I think of myself pretty savvy, well travelled, even went to college in NYC, lost in London after the major transportation stopped in the wee hours of the morning and survived even that at nineteen, although 1969!
Today who knows; in those days I do believe the police/ Bobbies didn't even carry guns, now they do.
What I am saying though is a point... I am trying to get to that even I was maybe a bit too naïve to on first blush realize something was not Kosher, ya know?
Anyway, it was fixed before any damage was done, true, yep true!

Moving on...

Yesterday, I never really finished our journey, after BB and Beyond we went over to Sam's Club that we belong to, for those in faraway places like Russia that has been noticed in large numbers visiting me/my blogs once again, Sam's Club is what Americans call a BIG BOX Store derived from the fact that ordinary people as well as business people can purchase large quantities of items like dry goods, produce, and package, fresh meat, fish and poultry or prepared items at more than fair prices!
Oh wait... there is more, I almost forgot pet food, cleaning supplies, furniture, appliances, jewelry, and electronics a WOW capitalist's dream store, but a bargain prices so a win win even for the commoners, us not so rich!
Got it?
Oh we went there, because they sell the cheapest gasoline/petrol to anyone!
After, we lowered the windows, Hubby left me in the van with all the extra gas for the boat, the lawn mower and our arriving this week new water pump that he ordered from Home Depot about the same price as renting one and he needs it to fix things down at our docks, fifteen gallons worth of gas for those, not counting the nearly ten topping off the van's, all in all almost twenty-five gallons for ... are you ready?.. for a grand total of $51!

Oh, the lowering of the windows for me was me waiting for him in the van when Hubby went into our grocery store, Publix, for those staples of milk, eggs, bread and butter.
We did eat lunch at Firehouse subs, a chain of restaurants started by firemen.
We both had subs, now they have small, medium, and large subs, used to have one size or maybe half and large do not remember, but that was besides salads and now not only white bread subs, but also whole wheat! So I bet you thought I chose a small whole wheat, well I did order the whole wheat but medium and I ate only half and brought the other half home ( ate it today for lunch) packed in ice in our cooler, we had free ice water and with those cups we got our own ice with lids for the cooler, and Ta Da, portable!
After we had gotten the gas and grocery items and lately our feel like temps have been in the triple digits, but with the air-conditioning on in the car while waiting for Hubby and the ice all was swell with me and the sandwich!

Happy good night to all and to all share those blessings and we will too!

And next time please be here or be square, ya hear!

People who live stream and refresh reputable news sites are...

...definitely in "the know", and yours truly is trying hard to keep up!
Thanks Number One Son who gave/reminded me about msn.com it's been quite enlightening!
Things happen so quickly in this world and believe me when I say that I enjoy knowing things before TV broadcast news runs with the stories!
So many sites that are "legit" are worthwhile for you to examine, ask a relative, or friend or like I did tell my son I was going elsewhere and this our eldest son corrected his Mom, that I respect help from our knowledgeable grown sons and for he suggested a great interactive site msn:msn.com!
There are plenty out there, but this one suits my needs of giving me in-depth articles or live news feeds, which gives me glimpses into what I might have missed with me not always being connected!

Moving on...

Geez we got back to the mundane and tame today; I do believe it's called living your life.

We actually stopped at Tar-jay, Target, and the reason for going into the classier of the discount stores was to look for a new set of white sheets, and no we are too many of the hated by them minorities for that purpose, any-who our king set is so expensive compared to other sets we have had over the years and we have had this king size mattresses for now nearly thirty years of our almost forty-seven years of being married, for the first seventeen we had queen mattress sets that everything was much more fugally priced than these king sized! Plus many sets of sheets were wedding presents way back when.

So, anyway I used to buy the bed in the bag sets and the comforters and pillow shams held up well enough and were usually priced not too dearly, but the sheets would need to be replaced and again our bottom sheet has lost its elastic and is no longer a fitted sheet.
For Hubby's sake and his dislike of the situation I thought it would be easier to replace it, but no separates are sold and you must buy an entire set and even the cheap ones are more than fifty bucks and we were also needing to replace the mattress protector due to me being too thrifty last time and the one we have now basically disintegrating!
And so we went over to Bed Bath and Beyond after and bought a very decent mattress pad in their king for $49.99, but with their 20% discount, so $39.99 plus tax, not too bad?

I know why such a large bed when most of our lives we were both usually slender?
We had our dogs and cats and even in the early days our children when we still had the mere queen size it was cluttered with all those cuddly bodies!
But now even though I am very large, as I say twice the woman I used to be, there is a lot of room still on this bed, since Gus has his own, on the floor alongside of ours, and that BIG KING holds just us mere mortals!
I have been working on Hubby to get a new mattress set next time in a queen, but the problem is
he thinks I am being brainwashed by commercials saying that you should buy a new mattress more often than he thinks we should!
And until we do I mention subtly the additional expense of dressing this king mattress compared to a smaller one has been... just a little mention here or there, ya know?

New sheets sets will keep us fine for awhile again so I will comb online, since the micro fiber ones that I saw online were not in their Tar-jay store!
Plain white is all we need!

Moving a bit further on...a whole lot further!

Six police officers were shot last night, two in Kissimmee Florida, where both killed, two in Jacksonville Florida both in the hospital there, and the other two were in Fayette county Pennsylvania also hospitalized, our thoughts and prayers are with those in the hospital and their families and of course the family of the deceased too.

Heather Heyer, the young woman who was run down by that white supremacist in Charlottesville Va. I must mention her Mother how profound her statement was about her daughters final message  that Heather was their to stop the hatred, and she was a peaceful activist, and now her quiet desire to make a difference has been AMPLIFIED! AGREED! And she will not have died in vain, and neither should those law enforcement officers in that chopper that went down looking/watching over the crowds at the event.

Violence horrifically seems to be occurring way too often again; with summer has been notorious for anger to reach a fever pitch!
They used to blame it on everything from the heat to annoying landlords, you name it, but racial discord that has been escalated all these decades by certain people in power who do not understand any of the frustrations or the instigators with hate causing the elevated tensions!

Hug your kids tighter and your spouse / significant other kiss longer too... life is so precious and can be sadly gone way too soon!
