Mckinsey Comp 1- 212-446-7786

Have any of you received phone calls from the caller ID above with the area code of Manhattan NYC?
Its a tech service that has been badgering me with phone calls for years saying that I requested their help with my computer, all lies.
It is not the distinguished company called Mckinsey Company the landline phone number is actually Teleport Communications America, a company notoriously known for harassment and threatening people! (PS there is also another Teleport Communications America that appears to be legit, how they utilize their name and find the way to use  Mckinsey Comp with the landline phone number of 1-212-446-7786 to show up on my caller ID is a computer parlor trick I do not know how to do!  PS I checked reverse phone number lookup as well each companies name!)

http://www.ripoffreport.com/r/Teleport-Communications-America-Llc-TX/internet/Teleport-Communications-America-Llc-TX-Robert-Davis-of-Harris-County-Stalking-Harassme-1151705

They appear to continue to take over computers in spite of
the best anti-virus systems.
Three times tonight I began to write and my words were erased, not by me this time or by my hitting "enter". Even my title that I was nowhere near was also erased!

I am posting now before it happens again!

Sneaky Hubby of mine

Apparently, while I napped this afternoon Hubby had made a Rube Goldberg like winch contraption to remove the 30 gallon hot water heater a Rheem from its five foot height shelf perch.
He had Googled the specs that came in at ninety-five pounds for the empty water heater but due to its height and angle and the fact that Hubby does have a bad back he got it down the smarter not harder way!
He returned it this afternoon to Home Depot for $234 including tax refund, making our new forty gallon, also Rheem hot water heater come in at a little over $100 including tax when all was said and done.

What a deal, and so nice to know that companies still recognize what customer service is, and to have documentation of it all doesn't hurt either, that'll teach you to send in those warranty papers! I already sent the new one's in Saturday!

The only thing that bother's us is that when we were growing up water heaters lasted like twenty plus years, not only five or six.
I suppose the expression they don't make 'em like they used to, ya know could be a truism factor?
Although, we both have a theory, even though we are on city water and sewers the quality isn't that great.
Sediment, and too much chemical purification in the water reasoning might also have an affect on how long water using appliances last.
Just a possibility, who knows, but sounds plausible.

On that update of a good outcome for a change note, guess this year can turn around...allow me to be the very first to wish you all a very happy healthy safe good night and ask you all to kindly count all your blessings and share all your overages with you know whom and we will too!

And next time please be here or be square, ya hear!

A speech about guns was given and...

As far as I know not many heard what the president had said.
Opening with the fact of reminding the others that he had taught constitutional law was noteworthy asset for his naysayers to understand where he is coming from and why he does know what he is doing!
And I so wish I counted all the times he repeated that he was not taking anyone's guns away!
It was quite a few.
While he was explaining he received much applause for what was heard by the people there in person.

All that I gleaned from what he said was that he wanted people who privately sold guns, or at gun shows or online that they should be licensed and that they also should do background checks before any sales and guns or ammunition changed hands; fair enough.

No stealing people's second amendment rights by confiscating guns! Yet even the interviewees this evening on the news still are misinformed thinking that is what he wants to do, take their guns, and no he doesn't!
But he does want a half billion dollars to make sure the mentally ill are treated and therefore helped.

AS he reminded us of all of the mass murders over these last few years and when he spoke of the shootings at Columbine and Sandy Hook he teared up, righfully so, so did I.

He is again using his executive order ability to do what I stated above, which he hasn't used as much as his predecessors, but the GOP acts as if he has.

In closing, the pres, as I like to call him told us succinctly what all people that are tired of all the right wings do nothing rhetoric of postponing instead of doing something to maybe to change many if even just one of the deaths from happening with sane thinking overriding stubbornness and laws expanded to prevent stupidity!
The TIME IS NOW! NOT LATER!

ON that note of smart counts, allow me to be the very first to wish all of you a very happy healthy safe good night and ask you all to kindly count all your blessings and share all your overages with you know whom and we will too!

And next time please be here or be square, ya hear!

What I want to know is...answers PLEASE

...if the frothy orange haired person running for president while running if elected had he considered to exile our homegrown domestic terrorists of the mentally ill caliber as well as sufficiently considered very angry sane Americans?
I only wonder if due to his reasoning of the "others" not from here being hostile and probable terrorists as a blanket assessment how can he know, ya know?
If I recall from all the news information several of the mass shootings were not from foreign visitors but local domestically home-grown mentally needing help people or angry people with a gripe too insurmountable to resolve any other way to them in these last several years that had happened, hmm?
Who's going to protect us from them, shall we have them all herded/rounded up i.e. all the mentally ill into interment camps as many were during WW11 even here and the angry too over-the-top ones put there too?
Or perhaps there is an island they all can be sent to, as was done by one country a few centuries ago, ya think?

So his objective is to make us all safe selectively, bravo, huh! Many claiming certain raced Americans too are more violent does that mean that only white Protestant men and perhaps a woman or two might make the cut for this new super race he is trying so hard to make in this new pure land of his once he becomes the KING/Dictator of these United States?

Wake up America!
This person appears to be an incarnate of the Furor himself! In my opinion, I still believe he is promoting hatred and the lesser educated of the country are yessing him to death! Some are even said to be White Supremacists! SCARY!
And him with a daughter who willing converted to Judaism and married to one of my own, a Jew!
How dare he claim that we should all fear people who hope to immigrate here, with his own ancestors being some of the many who had certainly at one time or another immigrated here themselves.

Does he not realize that we were the original invaders of this place called/named America and although after centuries of difficult times and horrid violent behavior we should know better than to treat people so viciously again, which ironically is no better than the terrorists he fears!

Please people do not allow him to sway your vote think clearer and read more and listen to more than one TV channel, in other words find out what is true/fact and what is a lie/made up!

On those wishes of more knowledge for us all, allow me to be the very first to wish all of you a very happy healthy safe good night and ask you all to kindly count all your blessings and share all those overages with you know whom and we will too!

And next time please be here or be square, ya hear!

Anybody out there adult

NAP?
I do, I do and believe me at times it is a BIG mistake.
But only how you want to look at it, really.
I don't know about you but sometimes I am like a toddler in the process of outgrowing his/her naps in the respect of if I do nap I am up later at night; you too?
Other times though I sleep peacefully when I would normally go to bed even after my nap-time.
And other times I cannot sleep at all... what a mess, hmm?
The nice part of napping earlier in the day, which causes you not to fall asleep at your normal bedtime is I get to watch a lot of late night offerings. (Odd saying that, without parental control, permission, ya know, sounded weird?)
Love the talk shows during the weekdays of course the Jimmies and the Stephen, and the Seth and the James at later night. I have this nasty habit of surfing them all and watching all or as many as I can at the same time, strange, hmm?
On the weekends I so enjoy SNL, Saturday Night Live, which sadly is more repeats than live these days, although my tastes in their vulgarity in some of their skits has changed, I secretly cringe more than I did all those years ago when the show began, and I checked the older shows were just as blue in some ways but Gosh I handled it better way back then.

And I must admit that I so look forward to the repeats of Bones airing at two A.M. on NBC Saturday night and now at twelve thirty on Sundays, I look good for that one tonight since I did have "my nap" this afternoon. Not too much sexual innuendo in those shows just good old blood gore and bones, of course, thus the name! Odd taste on my part it must sound to most.

It was a perfectly good day to take one, a nap that is, it has been raining all day, still is, and the
temperatures have dropped almost to what our norms are supposed to be for this time of year, low/mid seventies during the day and fifties at night, yes dreary in this the Sunshine state!
That is not to say I was a total bum all day I did make my Butternut Squash soup once again, mmm so good in this weather, left hot on the stove, and yes I even did get a bit of laundry done.

So whether you nap and admit it or don't nap or do and don't admit it I am here to say that I NAP AND I AM PROUD, no shame here! (So there, I am sticking my adult tongue out at you. HA!)
Many of us would be less bear-like, grrrrrrrrrrr if we got that quickie in, sleep time friends, get your minds out of the gutter please! (Insert BIG Smile here.)

On this note of confession, allow me to be the very first to wish all of you a very happy healthy safe good night and ask you all to kindly count all your blessings and share all your overages with you know whom and we will too!

And next time please be here or be square, ya hear!

PS Hope that you read this well rested, if not consider a nap, perhaps, just an unbiased suggestion?

Side tracked

Again this posted without anything written!
I think I now know how it does it, with I suppose my help, by me hitting enter by mistake...Oops!

Long winded as ever.
The day is ending on a much higher note than yesterday's did.
Hubby has the new 40 gallon hot water heater installed in the garage, yep a forty! I got in my morning shower by four this afternoon (Cold showers with MS are as bad as too hot ones.), and all dinner dishes were washed in appropriately hot-ish water.
It seems that the larger Rheem was fifty dollars less than the thirty due to them selling more of the forty at Home Depot, so instead of $379 it was $329, and get this last night we found out that the faulty/leaking one was still under warranty and once we can get it out of its location and back to the store, not easy it's five feet up on its shelf, we will be receiving a $219 refund.
Its heavy and when originally put in Hubby had help from a neighbor that since has moved away.
Our Number One Son cannot come down for a while, but we have till May 20, 2016 when its warranty is up.
Our one young neighbor might help if Hubby can catch him to ask him, he's very busy.
Many would hire a plumber to get it out, well we priced the prospect through Home Depot and theirs wanted $500!
Not cost effective at all!
Believe it or not that was just to take the old one out, not move it or even take it to the store or install the new one!

I suppose many of you all know that, but we have not needed to hire a plumber all these years due to Hubby's abilities.
Still would love to see all that money we saved...

Ya know, now don't get angry with me but it is sort of like when I quit smoking ten years ago this coming July eleventh, where is all that money that I saved, hmm?
According to the people who know these things its gotta be a bundle, but where is it?
Kidding, mostly absorbed by inflation of other things, I suspect.

Any-who, just wanted you all to know that we are back on track, not living in a coldwater flat, ha, ta Da! (Now I get it, maybe?)

On this note of a bit of humor, yep that's the way this year should have begun, allow me anyway to be the very first to wish all of you a very happy healthy safe good night and ask all of you to count your blessings and share all those overages with you know whom and we will too!

And next time please be here or be square, ya hear!

2016 not going well

Flooded from broken water heater, laundry room fortunately slopes into the garage!
I know at least our home isn't floating away; I do know things could have been worse.
Decided to roast ahead some of our bounty of fresh veggies that we purchased on our grocery run for the month yesterday to freeze for later use.
Did you know that not all thick veggies roast well at the same temperatures, some disintegrate, but Geez we have them while some people don't have any, again it could have been much, much worse.
Right now I am re-roasting a rotisserie chicken we froze a couple of weeks ago to go with the veggies, first defrosted it in the microwave, now the zapping is not supposed to be too healthy, better to defrost in the fridge, again at least we have it and the appliances to keep and heat the chicken, true.

Heck what am I complaining about?
People have homes floating away; I am so ashamed!

No hot water to wash the dishes, or shower for Hubby since he showers at night and I shower in the morning, so I already did.
Wonder where I put those paper plates? (Used the dishes and they washed fine, if need be we have bleach to disinfect, as we always did when we had our restaurant.)
But again we do have indoor plumbing with cold water and paper plates, now not needed, somewhere...yes! And many do not have any.
I so feel like crying for all those poor souls, but then I wonder why, since that wont help them or us.
Dawn detergent does work as well in cold water to clean, and if I have to I can still boil water on the stove!
Home Depot has a 30 gallon hot water heater ten dollars less than Lowe's both open today, yay, and Hubby said now he is going to move our squat little thirty gallon one out the laundry room door( eventually I will be getting more shelves where it was.) and the new one is going into our garage, also a thirty gallon, changed to a standard sized height one; absolutely no price difference between the two, would you believe? Hubby was an apprentice plumber while going through college! And he has built many a plumber's job from scratch.
That is why we ate already although we do eat at this time, early daily.
I had very little since my stomach has been acting up, too much good luck herring perhaps?
Any-who, less is better for this large gal, and I have taken all my tummy meds.
I suppose this fulfills the law of things happening in threes?
Although, not in the threes of broken appliances, so far only two the washer dryer combo that I just paid that whole credit card bill yesterday it isn't due until the middle of the month, but we received all pension and social security checks together, usually they come a few days apart, so I paid all bills we received yesterday.
Three others come later in the month, small ones, utility and cell and landline bills, our electric bill was way down due to being away last month and already paid yesterday with the others.
My new health insurance is the only one I allow drawn on our account and that's my new supplemental, full coverage for only fifteen dollars more a month without any co-pays, an "f" plan and I sure hope that we don't get "F'd" by it.The other "N" also was supposed to too, pick up those co-pays that is, but the "N" seemed to stand for"NOPE".
Oh well, our living room SONY WEGA bought back after the hurricane has been acting oddly, its color is fading and will not adjust no matter how many times we try...a few years back we actually paid a few hundred to get it fixed and was fine until now, it cost 1K way back in 2004 new, now it is so heavy @ 160 pounds and only a 32", but fills the shelf due to its width! Number One Son had given us two new ones, TVs that is, the one in the sun-room is  forty-six inches and wont fit in the living room, too big, ha, nice problem, hmm, and the other one we have in our bedroom, although a 32" is much leaner, they both are those thin trim ones it would not fill the space/opening, what another silly problem, I know...
Now the prices have come down significantly if need be and that appliance doesn't worry me as much as the central heat/air system going or major kitchen appliances, Geez this is NO GOOD new year I was not supposed to worry!
Forgive me...

Moving onward...
On this note of changing the subject, allow me to be the very first to wish all of you a very happy healthy safe good night and ask you all to kindly count all your blessings and share all those overages with you know whom and we will too!

And next time please be here or be square, ya hear!

Speaking My Mind: Interesting familiar diagnosis for one and horrifi... :   But these are MINE! Not Hubby's! What he has is not contagio...
