Ya wanna know what isn't right to eat...

When getting over the stomach flu?
Here's the short list: in my opinion do not eat any Subway seafood salad, salad, even divided into three separate meals as I did from just yesterday, one of those still left, with jalapenos (Could have been them, nah) and Publix air popped light buttered popcorn...oops! Hubby was eating his other half of his meatball sub from there, he's fine and satiated, no problem for him, thank goodness!

Everything else is okay to eat, I think or it could be just me that had the problem with having the flu and all and thinking that since I was hungry just eat what I like..., more than likely... ME!
Although, those items above seemed to have given me a set back in the hopes to be able to leave the mini manse in the near future! Nah, ME!

I was leaning toward next weekend, not supposed to be too hot then. Our temps here in Florida are going down to the pleasant seventies from the mid to high eighties of this past week and in some places ninety, would you believe? Breaking many records, even for Florida!

Nope, not even a pleasant day for me indoors tummy wise.

I had made a frittata for breakfast of sauteed spinach, mushroom, onion, garlic and turkey sausage, three eggs scramble with water into our sprayed PAM and olive oiled cast iron frying pan started on top of the stove with slices of Swiss and cheddar cheese, just a little on top then placed into the oven at 400 degrees for ten minutes, and as always it came out perfect. Only half of it eaten by Hubby and I, so the other half could be saved for tomorrow! Yum!

My thought was to give Hubby a BIG BREAK, since I was feeling a bit better! He has been waiting on me and Aussie literally nearly constantly!
Due to Aussie being a three and half month old puppy and about 75% housebroken, the other 25%,  he has managed to use our little throw rugs to relieve himself on, by the front or back door, our home is completely ceramic tiled, and the other rugs are for him to use as beds. (No area rugs due to my wheels)  He is so very fast, nearly stealth like too, not unlike the Flash from the comics. Although, he does go if we ask him if he has to go out too!

It has been fourteen years since we last trained a puppy!
Skipper, our Bichon Frise we had from eight weeks old in 2004, and then Gus was an adult housebroken rescue Havanese mix, so yup, fourteen years since being puppy parents, and WOW!
I remembered it being easier, ha! Like labor not so bad, but of course worth it! We were a whole lot younger and healthier then.
A lot of work and laundry!
But now that Aussie's stomach issue appears to be gone... it is getting a lot easier.
I also helped with accident clean up and laundry today.

I am back on the Pedialite, trying to avoid the Imodium as long as possible.

I seem to go back and forth with this darn thing, tummy and temp!

Flu begone, YOU ARE GETTING REDUNDANT!
My third time this year or last since Nov and Dec, even with the flu shot on September 6, 2017, and all those previous years it worked!
WEIRD, even if just 36% effective, why me so many?
At least I am not dead! Thank GOD! Bite my tongue; all those babies taken this time, just so sad and horrible!
US medicine has got to do better!
HELP!

Try to have a happy good night and we will too!

And next time please be here or be square, ya hear!

I've lately been straying...

That is my attention, whatever did ya all think? Really????????? Get your minds out of the gutter!
And you thought I couldn't hear you? Why I have it written right here, "I hear you." And so it is written, by me, not someone who has to tell me to do it or does it for me, actually it is etched temporarily in my brain not on anything tangible that you would want to touch anyway, ha!

Any-who, our embarrassment chief in office was not where this conversation/soliloquy was heading for tonight, forgive; as in my title and first somewhat complete sentence states I seem to be having a problem concentrating.
Could this be the beginning of the end?
Might my mind be in jeopardy and I mean not the fun kind of Jeopardy from the TV the harsh reality that now you've lost it girl kind??????????
I pray not, and these days I find myself praying way too much for my agnostic self, ha! Although, I declare being born Jewish.

You see, I have been slowly losing parts of my abilities physically due to the Multiple Sclerosis, but even though at times I used to ask Hubby after a mini description what word I was talking about was so I could write it here... and since I have actually moved onto bothering my smart phone by describing words, asking for spelling words and using its Thesaurus too, as I pluck this out nightly on my ASUS notebook. I used to multi task, doing five things at one time, was down to two, and until recently I was able to watch the news while writing this, but lately I have had to turn it off altogether, since muting it while alone in the bedroom with Hubby in the living room seemed just silly, if you know what I mean?
Oh where was I, my train of thought, this last paragraph's point was that even with slight cognitive problems, I would consider my thought processes not too disintegrated yet, perhaps just slightly skewed depending on which side of the political realm your leanings are on I suppose, huh?
In closing, while writing this tonight...Geez I have forgotten my entire point of this verbose essay this evening...    never mind, must not be important.

As is so much in life, don't sweat the small stuff... DO YOU WANT TO KNOW WHY?????????
BECAUSE EVENTUALLY THE BIG STUFF WILL COME ALONG AND SNAP YOU OUT OF IT! With the end result of being so much wiser with what is truly important in life.
Ta DA! All said without a net or caring that you all already know these things! I better run they might try to throw one of those nets over me...kidding, or not!

Happy night to all!

And next time please be here or be square, ya hear!

YOU SEE THIS IS WHAT CABIN FEVER IS LIKE!

Almost all better though.

Who wants a new early presidential election?????????

Oh dear there is now proof of collusion with Russia, by three of Mr.Ts guys during the campaign!
Sure they will not extradite their Russian counterparts here, but just the same the proof should have the proper effect in the end result... removal of the so-called president due to an inaccurate election!
He did not win fairly, honestly or AT ALL!
And not just by the votes, but by dishonesty in acquiring the trust of those who thought he might be doing what they had voted for...I am so happy that he hasn't kept any of his promises!
Let's face it they were bizarre.
I know that a new early election will put this country on hold to move forward, but the results of another, honestly, NOT interfered with one is worth the effort, and really have we been accomplishing anything with this administration anyway?
Just our negative image on the world stage, hmm?
Oh and aggravation, and Orange Frothy Haired Guy showing how he really is a TWIT, did I write that out loud oops... I meant Tweeter of more than a serious thought commentary, out of decent human being that gets things done for all Americans, even in between golf games, huh? He doesn't at all! He, without after thought torments countries to cause nuclear war too!
Security we all pay for wherever he and his enormous family goes, and he doesn't stay put, in the White House, although it has been my very secret thought, now hush don't tell anyone, but the next time he, the Mrs. and the son leave that we should change all the locks, hmm, an idea, ha?
They wouldn't be homeless since they have too many other places to stay, but he wouldn't be where he could sign legislature that helps no one but him and his rich cronies like that one item he did sign!
I know all but the TWEET THINGY from anywhere in the world, that is an issue, someone should close that account and tell him it was a glitch, yep he would get that, maybe?

This could be our answer, one can only hope... I do know that there are plenty of holes in my ideas, but I do mean well for all Americans!
His lack of compassion, understanding, logic, common sense, decency, and sincerity just cuts me to my last nerve, and that's not good with Multiple Sclerosis, really! The fact that he had notes telling himself to say "I am listening", and that "I hear you", while talking to the survivors of the Parkland shooting.

Oh well...

Happy good night all.

And next time please be here or be square, ya hear!

An additional comment: I definitely do understand that the mentally ill on the whole do not cause or do violent acts ever, 95% do not. That said, though the 5% that do are the ones that might be set off by the least little or bigger thing said or done to them. Think of it as accelerated irrational reaction of anger. And yes, not all overly angry people are mentally ill I do know that too, either way those people are the ones, perhaps with records for lack of control of their actions with legal documentation, such as arrests, should not be allowed to purchase weapons of any type! How about that? And all automatic weapons have no business being sold to civilians, in my opinion!
And that is hard to test for on any sort of test I imagine.

Hairy moments!

Computer froze up, and it wouldn't even allow me to close it; I know we have all been there, panic of lack of access!
Ahhhhh, how soon I forgot my back up world window of my smart phone!

Last time, I was in the hospital I even wrote this blog on it, not as easy as the notebook, but you do whatever you think you need to do.
After trying for an hour Hubby came in the bedroom and asked to help, an I said sure, nothing to lose.
He considers himself not tech savvy, but his anxiousness was not as much as mine, alright nil, so I of course took him up on the offer and then almost as soon as he took it into the living room he brought it back with saying he thinks he got it!
And he did!
Hmmmmmmmmmm.
I had been running windows defender as my antivirus, since it is free.
And I had the updates and virus check running, to me this was logical with the freeze up, but even that was going way too slow, and consequently nothing was changing!

Oh well... all is fine now, and I do have the windows defender icon sitting nicely on the bottom right of this screen; ready!

This notebook is now a few years old and one never knows with this newer technology how long they are "meant" to last, hmm?

Moving on...

Aussie, barked a little today for the very first time! And I was quite relieved.
I was worried something had been done to his vocal cords; after all he has been with us now for nearly a whole week and he hadn't barked at all, just whimpered!
Now Hubby warned me that the last time I was concerned about a puppy not barking that one never stopped after, not really, although some days...
Aussie just did that one short bark in play, nothing gratuitous there.
You see, miniature Australian Shepards are not BIG barkers according to what I read about them.
He is also doing quite well on his antibiotics, no more tummy issues and eyes look great too, yay!
His housebreaking is doing pretty darn good now!

I on the other hand are mystifying in my continuing symptoms, although my appetite appeared to return, and then I could not eat even half of my dinner of baked Tilapia, peas and mashed potato.
And sitting at the dinette table hurts my stomach, and so I am back in bed with a low grade temperature again! The fact that I am dizzy, even more so than usual Hubby and I both thought because I have hardly eaten and perhaps I am weak and not eating very much since Monday when this all began. On the brighter side...I suppose that it is a good thing due to losing some LBS.!
So between the stomach issue and real dizzy issue I remain in bed, except for showers and needing the bathroom.

Happy good night all!

And next time please be here or be square, ya hear!

Challenging...

To write when you are just lying in bed working on trying to feel better, and yes I am somewhat better.

I rather chime in on the children, the high school children, specifically from Parkland Florida, speaking up and speaking out; they are more than extraordinary!
They are so fired up with ideas, not just lip service, but well thought out really, really good ideas on how to change the situation and not ever going to settle for the status quo!
The adults have dropped this ball way long ago, and these bright freshly devastated teens of Parkland have called them out on it, and so they have incited their sadly brothers and sisters whom have also endured more than anyone should ever to come along on their marches for a definitive peaceful resolve! As well as all students all over the state, and country!

If I didn't know better it to me it seems to be a throwback to the sixties, 1960's.
We were there, and we did make a difference.
Apathy is finally DEAD!

These children have a cause for all of us to believe in; it is times like these that I wish I was part of the legislature to pen all their logical brilliant ideas!
But I am not.
Walk outs have been everywhere where the students leave school to support the cause.
Fear is tangible.
Who wants to worry about a child doing such a mundane thing as going to school, when all schools used to be safe havens, now rightfully so the worry is the right emotion for all parents horrifically.
This should not be.

Domestic terrorism is apparently multiplying violent actions with multi shooter weaponry.
The period of waxing and waning of these crimes against humanity has lessened in time spans.
Like multiple serial killers their acts of violence appear to be growing right in front of our eyes.
Cues are not taken as seriously as they should be. Report anonymously if you see something say something!
Remember when yelling "fire" in a theater was a crime?
We as human beings have all dropped the ball, and are letting our futures down, all of our children.
Feeling safe in this world should be a given, not something that has to be begged for...

My hopes and wishes are for all the children/survivors when they explain from their hearts as they have been that some of these bureaucratic A-holes will stop talking and start listening.
And STOP TAKING MONIES FROM THE NRA!

That is all.  United we stand, divided we fall!

Humana Rx, though their specialty division, it is them again, feeling better and Aussie medical update

I received a letter from Humana stating they were trying to reach me several times by phone to let me know my Specialty medication, my injectable Copaxone was ready for delivery and that they were calling to set up the delivery.
The only problem is that we have caller record on our landline when after so many rings it picks up.
I had received only one message, not several, and as soon as I returned their call and set up the delivery date.
You see the delivery date was today and we have it, the same day the letter came.
So I called the number in the letter to complain, treating me as if derelict of my duty to myself for medication that has kept my lesions in check for these last seven years and five months of being on it.
While complying with their robo computerized voice asking me questions that they already know the answer to as soon as I call through our, all of our telephone numbers, I hit zero, several times and yes mine were several times until I got a human!
Sort of, they all apologize and understand my concerns, brainwashed!
But complying with their robot calls questions and requests, such as the one where social security pays for their premium!
Huh!
That is what the robot said.
Anyone already using social security and Medicare for that matter knows all of that was taken out of our paycheck while we were employed!
Social security and Medicare insurances are taken out of what would have been additional to monies that would be paid to us!
All that and my paid by me supplemental causes a few hundred dollars of monies coming to insurances directly from all retirees, you do the math.
And I as others should have that expressed in where the money comes from, not just haphazard or people uninformed as some type of charity!
We paid for it, so it is ours!

Not to mention the ill and infirm that do get Medicaid and Social Security, who need to be taken care of, we are low or non-existent in comparison on the world stage for taking care of our seniors, ill and infirm! And this they call civilized?

And the specialty department was doing so good...oh well.

Moving on...

The Imodium worked, with all else, no Pedialite, with my erratic hand movements I knocked it all over the bedding, sticky red mess, causing an immediate washing, soup not so much, fat free Greek Yogurt with honey seemed good, and was, toast okay!
Tonight, Hubby went all out with roasted chicken and baked potatoes! Couldn't eat most of it.

 This just in: fever returned!

Moving on again...

Crazy me thought, but it was only a coincidence with me and Aussie have the same symptoms, vet reassured Hubby, since I was home being sick.
Aussie has an infection and his nerves with his moving into his new forever home was determined could be the cause, an antibiotic was prescribed.
His eyes also were of concern by me. I had noticed his left pupil to be malformed hiding his blue eye nearly entirely. Blindness is not uncommon to the breed, and sadly Aussie may have it, but it doesn't make us love him any less!

He might not have it though, still we love him! But as Hubby loved me with my eye problems.

His symptom stopped with the chicken and rice we think before he went to the doctor. He did have conjunctivitis and for that he is on antibiotic eye drops too!

I knew that yellow eye discharge; anyone who wears contact lenses has experienced conjunctivitis at least once as many others have in the general population has, and eye/I.

Happy good night to all!

And next time please be here or be square, ya hear!

101 and stomach flu made me...

Sleep through blog-time, oops and sorry!
Maybe tonight I will feel better?
On Imodium, Pedialite, club soda, toast with orange marmalade, and chicken soup...!
Could happen?

Speaking My Mind: Interesting familiar diagnosis for one and horrifi...

Speaking My Mind: Interesting familiar diagnosis for one and horrifi... :   But these are MINE! Not Hubby's! What he has is not contagio...
