Officially Tropical Storm Gordon is a rain maker, but not much else.

Thankfully!
So far no news accounts of flooding, and I sure hope that continues to be the case.
Some gusts of wind have been rather hefty in Collier County, Naples Marco Island area, towards seventy miles an hour, with seventy-four being a hurricane cat 1. Here so far so good, our current stats as shown below! The east coast in Homestead Florida streets were flooded by this storm. Gordon is heading towards Mobile Alabama, New Orleans Louisiana or there about so in the northern central Gulf states, and could be a cat 1 hurricane by then.

The weather has pretty much been on all of south Florida's mind on this Labor Day.
Not conducive to the usual celebratory concepts of picnic, swimming and boating... oh well there is always next year!

Seriously, the pictures coming in from the news medias about the storm appear to be not that different, thankfully, than any other summer downpours here in our Sunshine Sate!

The link above is current, tap on it for the lowdown.

Happy good night all!
Count your blessings and we will too!
And next time please be here or be square, ya hear!
