Took the kids into River City AKA Punta Gorda Florida, Fishville today

They were a hit, more so Aussie, our mini-ish Australian Shepherd, as usual more so than Bella, our Morkie, Maltese -Yorkie, who is not a people canine or canine canine for some strange reason, but stayed perched on my lap riding through Fisherman's Village where we had landed. I suppose, whatever makes her bark and growl at others of the two legged and four legged kind is between her and her past.
I did tell people she was just adopted less than two weeks ago and that we are just getting to know her nuances and idiosyncrasies.
It is times like these that I wish animals could talk to you, ya know; forgive the expression "animals", furry babies, better?
Or scales, or hairy or whatever you like, hmm?

Any-who, She, Bella was not vicious just yappy and grrr a bit. I warned prospective petters, I am told that is not a word, "petters" then what do we call people who want to pet your puppy or kitty? Oh well...I mentioned that she came with an aggressive rep.
Heck...Forewarned, is less likely to cause a lawsuit, hmm? Anyway, that was enough for them to keep their distance.

Aussie on the other hand loves everyone, i.e. people and other dogs too!
And so people fussed as usual over him, our larger show stopper continues to draw the crowds! Even though he is little no more! It is his blue eyes and markings, Red Merle, that people go wild over.
But to be fair they all mentioned what beautiful dogs they both are... silly to be proud of something so shallow as looks and that we had nothing to do with creating, ha, but I had to smile anyway. (Thinking secretly better they (our furry kids) should be nice, ya know? Although, Aussie is that too, Bella is a work in progress, like all of us are, really!)
Actually, Bella is quite lovable to all of us at home so far so good.

We did pick up lunch at the seafood restaurant there to take over to Gilchrist Park on the Peace River, we thought we would eat under a pavilion on the section also on Harborwalk there. https://www.charlotteharbortravel.com/blog/post/punta-gordas-harborwalk/
But the rain came then, and came back this afternoon after we came home, and all afternoon on and off, nasty storming!
So we had our picnic at home.
Safe indoors.

Happy good night all!

Count those blessings and we will too!

And next time please be here or be square, ya hear!
