Erin Brockovich speaks out about our Southwest Florida red tide and blue green algae, Brava Erin!
And yes, we can love any help we can get! Do what you do so well. Her story is below:

Interesting observance by an American dog trainer visiting friends from Texas that recently moved to the UK, and he a professional in his field figuring out why UK dogs  appear to behave so politely and his well thought out conclusions. Showing that we could all learn from how they do or don't interact when going into all types of businesses where they have always been allowed. I had always seen them while visiting there and did wonder why here it was so minimalistically allowed in comparison?

Moving on...

Today, our newest addition who we had gotten with a basically clean bill of health, due to having all her shots including rabies, and heartworm test had a runny nose and sneezing! But we took her home anyway.
Before we had left Pet Smart we had made our appointment for a check up for Bella with the vet in the Banfield Animal Hospital there. The soonest one available was for next Tuesday!
At the time we did not think too much about these sniffles and sneezes, but she did appear to not want to eat, but with the pumpkin on the Nutro kibbles she did, each day a little more, and today she has had three quarter cups full, yay!

I had called yesterday concerned about this problem rightfully so... and they seem to know that she had kennel cough! I had wanted to come in earlier, but they were fully booked. It is highly contagious and now when we eventually do go in both Aussie and Bella might very well have to be put on antibiotics together, and with Aussies it is tricky. http://www.vetstreet.com/dr-marty-becker/multidrug-sensitivity-what-you-need-to-know But he, Aussie, ours, had been on one when we first got him too and it seemed to not be the one that actually does more harm than good to Aussies!

Meanwhile, me being me I did Google "Kennel Cough", and yes it is highly contagious to other dogs, not cats or people. And two things were suggested that were not BIG medical stuff, but common sense things that we as humans do for colds and coughs, was to use a vaporizer and honey!
We all know the power of honey and it is safe for dogs too in moderation!

And yes, we are still keeping our vet appointment next week.
But hopefully she will be better by then!
She is doing a lot of napping that is good for her!
Bella is eating and playing and being a BIG girl going potty outside; still not one single accident!
I move the vaporizer into the room she is in, and I have given her a little bit of honey today, but not too much!
No snoring from our Bella, sleeping with nice clear breathing. Right next to me as with a human infant you would worry too, right out there parents?
She is soooooo sweet!

Happy good night all!

Count those blessings and we will too!

And next time please be here or be square, ya hear!
