Powerful photographs showing...

That we need our roof to be replaced, but no one showed them to us before today!
We have not had any leaking from Hurricane Irma's havoc, and until just now I did not believe we needed any repairs even!
That thing about a picture speaking a thousand words is oh so very true! Or not?
We had been lucky until now I suspect.
On October 28, 2017  Bryan Robinson CRU claims adjuster came out to our home and took about thirty pictures of our roof and the rest of our home that may or may not had been damaged by the hurricane that hit our area on September 10, 2017.
We had been relieved that we had apparently been basically unscathed by the amount of damage that we had NOT seen!
Hubby quickly repaired the fences and the soffits, although the roof and the garage door, as well as other minimal items look nasty now that I see his pictures!
The point of contention is that Tower Hill sent the whole thing to the underwriters, since we did not commit to the repairs immediately, due to in our estimation the roof was fine, no damage and no leaks, even now eight months later! We never spent any of the monies.
But from the pictures I was just sent from their Tower Hills agent Lindsey who sent the below ones just this evening; no one had sent us the pictures even our agent at State Farm for shame until now!

The pictures do show damage, that should be taken care of... and if I had been shown these pictures when they were taken in October of last year we would have gotten on a list to have it done way back then! Although, that would not have guaranteed we would have been done even yet! Since the contractors did not even come out to the house they just gave prices over the phone due to being overwhelmed by all the need for roofs!
So I even tried returning the check or monies, and no they said it was ours! And until a couple of weeks ago, when our agent told us we had to get it fixed or be cancelled; again I reiterated that as I had said  so many times before that we still have no leaks!
Hubby assured me all was fine.
Sadly, I now see we were both wrong.
Tower Hills underwriters said now it has to be fixed by October 1, 2018 or they will cancel our homeowners insurance on December 31, 2018 that is when we are paid up till.
But even though we gave the roofer a deposit on July 31, 2018, they say it will be 25 weeks before they can do it!
So now we are trying to get an extension on that time frame to not be cancelled and yes to finally get the roof replaced! Below is where our missing solar panels were, but they had blown away years ago! We told the adjuster that!

The problem is that above was just a piece of plastic not part of the roof.
But there were other things

Now why didn't they show them to us?
Although, to me it does look just dirty!

Happy good night all!

Count your blessings and we will too!

And next time please be here or be square, ya hear!
