This one went fairly well.
Except for my tummy issue that was tamed by a Pepcid Complete just before physical therapy today at 2:15 P.M.
It had felt as if I had swallowed glass, just horrid, but subsided thankfully!
I had made healthy cabbage soup from scratch with everything from yellow squash to onions, garlic cloves, mushrooms, carrots and of course a half of a head of Savoy cabbage chopped, as well as beef and chicken sodium free bullion and stewed tomatoes, a dalliance of a splash of low sodium V8, Kosher salt and ground pepper to taste as well as thyme, a smidge of Cajun spice and also a dash of Old Bay too, all simmering for two hours on the stove, hearty and healthy soup, mmm, mmm good!
But as with many good soups with many ingredients that are not as easy for me to swallow as I once could before, cabbage is one it would seem, but after three plus months of after surgery I really thought that my tummy would allow it and that it would be alright.
Although, my tummy told me otherwise and I have enough left to share with a small village!
Hubby did like it, but not that much... for days and days worth, he prefers different things for meals.
Dinner turned out to be a rental, again.
Spicy is if you can tolerate it, and apparently those red peppers in the olive salad were too much for me, yet, not to mention those two chicken wings I had.
Another Pepcid and another ice pop, but this time I still have that burning gnawing feeling while I write this evening.
Back to PT, we waited for my tummy to be tolerably able. I had laid on my side until I was able to sit, so instead I sat back on my ride for the ball between the knees exercise, as well as leg lifts, and ankles up and down.
I did get to use my all over exercise body machine, this time for seventeen minutes, and I was done.
Again I drove BIG BLUE to the Bealls Outlet around the corner from the Sports Rehab and this time they did have two blouses in my size that were sort of what I was thinking of, but not quite, you know how when you get a concept in your mind... how that makes you think... that's it or no it's not!
Any-who, I took PICS and thought I could decide perhaps later after we had picked up dinner at the grocery.
I had forgotten all about the blouses and we came home, oh well...I guess that it wasn't meant to be then.
Probably wouldn't have fit when I needed the blouse anyway in a couple of weeks.
On this note of whatever floats your boat, allow me to be the very first to wish all of you a very happy good night and ask you all kindly to count all your blessings and share all of your overages with you know whom and we will too!
And next time please be here or be square, ya hear!
