Seems as if we here in Florida have a new normal!

Our storms come in later in the afternoon than years in the past.
More like early evening seems to be their designated time frame /MO arrival these days.
Darn, just when I get my writing of this blog underway time zone.
Speed is no more my forte these days I have become the turtle of my teased name of my youth.
Guess it was probably due to the sing song sound with my first name.
So I seem to rush for fear now so that the lightning or power outage fear of that it might mess with my completion and although I think that I am going rather fast, but in reality, I suppose not too.
Funny how things we did as children comes back to us in our older ages.
Naps, trying to remember, diapers, ha, silliness, not driving, needing help, not always asking, etc. you get the idea.

But back to this storming thingy, when we first moved to Florida in 1986, August 19th to be exact, the rain/storm action would come in around three P.M. give or take fifteen minutes during our rainy/hurricane season from June 1st to November 30th, and now sometimes it arrives after four or five O'clock, or even later??????
Why?
What's up with that?
We knew the rules were different here, but this?
Oh well, I suppose it is what it is.
I will learn to adapt, ha. (Indoors is safest)

Moving on...

Today was my six month check up with my pulmonologist and I mentioned what the others said about my asthma being emphysema and he says I have mild asthma!
No wheezing today, but I did mention at times later in the day I have trouble breathing and so he called in a prescription for an emergency breather, which Hubby picked up at the Publix RX.
While there he also collected more produce for me, pears, squash, and tomatoes, and...
Metamucil that was recommended as well on this new diet, which has an unpleasant side effect, look it up if you don't know what it is for; some things even to me are better left unsaid.(That was for Hubby who says TMI,TMI, occasionally about my writings, embarrassing. I guess to a lot of men who are squeamish about bodily functions, or not. Oops I said too much again!)

On that note of I better hush, allow me to be the very first to wish all of you a very happy good night and kindly ask you to count all your blessings and share all those overages with you know whom and we will too!

And next time please be here or be square, ya hear!
