To rapidly accomplish all
necessary errands one might believe that plotting out where to begin would be best
and it usually is.
The day went like this: 11:30
A.M. hair appointment, just a trim
After that Petco to try find
a new water carrier bottle since Gus’s was dropped and broken accidentally by
Hubby, nope, not me this time!
Oddly enough they did have
one, but Hubby wanted a different kind, one with an actual bowl, not just a
long reservoir. So from there Hubby felt that Petsmart would have it, but no
luck there either, only the same type but for three dollars cheaper, how odd;
the two stores are just blocks from one another.
We bought that one, $6.99
compared to $9.99, who knew?
They are wonderful to have
with you when traveling with a pet on lead.
From there we had called
ahead to TGI Fridays to see if their outdoor seating was dog friendly and it
was. Hubby had corned beef sliders fries and a side salad and I had grilled
chicken balsamic Caesar both of us had iced water with lemons on the side,
actually those lemons were mine! Hubby doesn’t care for them.
From there we were off to
Sam’s Club, Hubby and Gus got gas at $2.08.9 a gallon, while I went inside to
fill my eyeglass and contact lens prescriptions.
From there off to Publix,
ours in Charlotte Harbor, for a baskets worth of items so I did it again, but
used my walker with the basket on the seat…TA DA!
Finally home.
Moving on…
“One must dare to be himself,
however frightening or strange that self may prove to be.”
Yes, a fortune cookie fortune
is that disturbing or is just me?
That sounds way too weird to
me; it was Hubby’s.
“Begin nothing until you have
considered how it is to be finished.”
Hubby’s again, and yes there
are times that Hubby has had that issue…but haven’t we all? (*Oops that was mine! Foot is slowly being
removed from my mouth.) But it still applies to both of us at times…
Now mine, “Don’t be fooled by
first impressions.”
Geez folks, I learned that
lesson over forty years ago, thankfully!
“Look around and you will
find the greatest treasure of all, friendship.” That is mine! I mean my fortune and that all of you are the greatest
treasures with Hubby!
YEP!
Onward and downward, a bit:
I wonder if any of my other
friends out there who use walkers daily or that have MS have had arm and hand
and shoulder pain and weakness. As my legs get stronger from exercises at the
rehab/gym and walking on the off days my upper portion seems to have weakened.
It gets so bad that I have
trouble even closing the car door.
Any-who, if any of you out
there have this problem please let me know and give me ideas if there are any
ways to fix it.
PS, author’s note: my mistakes abound
nightly as I write this blog, and at times my computers, both, laptop and PC,
do not allow me to return to remedy these mistakes or if that nasty hour glass
goes on and on I usually give up, and so bear with me please, I am not that
bright but not that dumb either…so please forgive! (And yes, I do write this in
WORD and use spell and grammar check and even so with them it still comes out wrong at
times. )
On that note of hopefully
understanding allow me to be the very first to wish all of you a very happy
good night and ask you all to kindly count all your blessings and share your
overages with you know who and we will too!
And next time please be here
or be square, ya hear!
