Oh puleez....

The argument/debate for affordable medical care insurance, Obamacare, goes on… and on, the Republicans are trying hard to prevent it from going forward with a not too dissimilar form of blackmail, in my opinion, with not allowing the federal government to continue business as usual, by shutting it down if the President won’t stop the plan for the affordable care act from going forward!

The stalemate is causing losses for many different agencies if they end up not being able to work or collect paychecks, due to delays, including military etc… even federal buildings will have to be shutdown due to the furlough of their employees. It’s an enormous frightening MESS!

I sent the below message earlier today to Tom Rooney our GOP representative for our 17th district in Florida, ours, on his Facebook page.

“Sent 9/28/13
Please stop being so heartless and think about your constituents who are average people who need you to be working for us! We need appropriately priced health insurance and this information reliably today has made me realize, we need you on all our sides to get us what we need not to harm us!

My reaction to this being a respite from having to pay so much is for just having the bad judgment of getting Multiple Sclerosis!

I pay more now for my pre-existing insurance premiums with ridiculous deductibles and since by the time this goes into effect, for me in January, since my now federal insurance will be defunct on 12-31-13. I will be only a year and half from Medicare, which my husband has had for years, which is a wonderful coverage and bargain in comparison! He is an injured deputy. Especially, with us falling into their criteria nicely with all those tax breaks and subsidies! I should be saving a couple of hundred a month in premiums I hope anyway! Perhaps we could replace our 18 year old washer and dryer the next time they break or replace our gas guzzling car that is over 12 years old, get it? Could use a break really! Please honestly help us! No matter what, you will have insurance, but we won't!
And I would hate to be someone who has to decide to pay for my medication or eat or anything like paying to stay in our home, etc.... can't you relate? It seems as if you cannot!”

And the debate goes on all over the Facebook pages about the cost to us consumers of healthcare, being ridiculously high, but no one as of yet that I read has any other solutions just reasons why it won’t work!

Frustration, life is hard enough, but we should all try to unite and come up with ideas and compromise GUYS!

This day has been exhausting with this conversation going around and around but not really anywhere!

Moving on…

Our pool is sparkling once again, but sadly it was too cold for me to go into today! 24 degrees Celsius or approximately 75 degrees Fahrenheit, which is about ten degrees too spas-mastic for my delicate built in thermostat.

And so it was a no go… who knows what tomorrow will bring?

On these so many notes of all emotions, allow me to be the very first to wish all of you a very happy good night and ask all of you to kindly count your blessings and share all your overages with you know who and we will too!

And next time please be here or be square, ya hear!
