We are facing the eleventh
hour with a government shutdown looming large!
Although, it may not be as
absolute as we may all think…?
Okay, it is pretty much
definite, but not for as long as we may think, is a better way to state it.
“5. Will you notice a government shutdown?
Yes, particularly if it lasts
a few days or more. If you're one of the 800,000 federal workers who are deemed
as non-essential, you will be directly affected immediately and not report to
work. But the implications go well beyond Washington. If you're applying for a
passport or visa, you will likely be out of luck. First-time home buyers
looking for a mortgage will be delayed because the Federal Housing
Administration will be closed. And the 401 national parks will be off-limits
starting Tuesday morning. The biggest fear for hundreds of thousands of federal
workers - and members of the military - will be if they receive back pay. In
the last shutdown nearly two decades ago, workers received lost wages. That's
not guaranteed this time. And why everyone should care: a shutdown will cost,
not save, taxpayers' money. A study from the Office of Management and Budget
puts the overall economic price tag for a shutdown around $2 billion.”

I know no time to make light of this very important subject that is as of right now and no one seems to be able to stop this run away train!
No harm in trying to notify the parties responsible for all our worries and fears: http://www.gop.gov/republicans
I did, as you all know.
A lot of good that did, but at least I tried.
But I still believe all us national constituents of these fine United States of America we must be heard!
United we stand divided we fall… “The phrase has been attributed to Aesop, both directly in his fable The Four Oxen and the Lion and indirectly in The Bundle of Sticks.
The first attributed use in modern times is to John Dickinson in his revolutionary war song The Liberty Song. In the song, first published in the Boston Gazette in July 1768, he wrote: “Then join hand in hand, brave Americans all! By uniting we stand, by dividing we fall!””

Something's never get old...
My conclusion is that somehow ‘we’ Americans will once again rise above this adversity and be able to move on within days of this horrible dilemma put upon us again and we will survive as we have before with so many other things in life, repeat after me, “USA STRONG, USA STRONG, USA STRONG!”
http://www.gop.gov/republicans NOW CONTACT THESE A--HOLES and let them know that they have no right to do this to us!
Anyone here, watch Meet the Press today, and see the Senator from Texas, Ted Cruz, also fan of Dr. Seuss, but who isn't really.... anyway, argue with David Gregory about the poll taken that stated that 56% of all Americans are in favor of the Affordable Care Act, and Cruz insisted he was wrong? Am I the only one who knows this guy is not quite right in his thinking, and that is putting it nicely…? Your silence tells me that once again I am not alone in this thought.
Any-who…
On that note of not just standing/sitting here, but doing something mode… allow me to be the very first to wish all of you a very happy good night and ask you to kindly count all your blessings and share those overages with you know who and we will too!
And next time please be here or be square, ya hear!
