Lotsa of doings today!

The day was one of sufficing needs.
It started out with going to my neuro appointment and I always try to go prepared with my medication list, including allergies or sensitive to and surgery lists and question/comments lists, as we all should.
We don’t want to waste the doctor’s time anymore than we want them to waste ours, right?
Keeping the first two in the computer word program with occasional updates makes it all the more easier when an appointment comes up. Questions are always changing so I don’t usually keep those.
After all I was trained by the state health department to teach a self help course, which this was all inclusive as part of how to help one’s self.
It is also not a bad idea to keep those first two on your person in your handbag ladies or in the car glove compartment for men or women, of course with your name on it if you keep more than one persons’ information there.

Well, with all my specific additions in my comment’s list I have now added another medication to my laundry list of the many I already take.
This one is for MS pain, in the generic form it is called Gabapentin, but in the non generic form it is Neurontin and it is made by Pfizer and so I contacted them to see if they had a patient assist program for their product that I was told to take. And I did qualify for their discount program which could be as much as 15% to 36% off, as a discount.
They even gave me access numbers that will eventually be on my card to try and find which of my local pharmacies has the best price for this drug.
But the numbers take time to process, two to three days, the actual card takes ten days to arrive, and then I will know where I can find the right price for my sixteenth and seventeenth pill for me to have to ingest daily, small hooray here…

You see, I am prescribed a 300mg dose twice a day, which will increase accordingly…

Not too thrilled with the concept...
Although, if it solves my pain problem and I get to sleep undisturbed, well that changes the whole shebang/game, hmm?

We all know the expression, Life Goes On…?
There was even a TV show with that name, quite good too…A lovely family dealing with life’s daily challenges.

Well, I want my life to go on and so I will do what I am told to try and feel as good as I can, to be the best that I can be, with whatever help I can get to do that! TA DA!

Happy is as happy does, hmm?
Could it be all the medication causing happy, nah!
All legal prescribed medications.
Even so, it does make one wonder why I always said no to those generous folks way back in the 1960’s who always wanted to share theirs…KIDDING!
I suppose I was saving that experience for these legal ones that doctors seem to feel that I need.
I am a druggy, but not a criminal?
No pain meds until this one.

It reminds me, a little, like when I was twenty-one years old and I found out I was expecting our first child besides being elated, at the time we had been married for just eight months, and I felt also a little like I was a youngster doing something wrong! But I got over it very soon with the birth of our beautiful baby boy… and after all I was a married lady and our first son was born to us fifteen months after our very large wedding with two hundred guests! I know, silly me!

Crazy how those things come back to remind us how some things are so different in this day and age than then.
Nobody worries whether they marry or not and have children all of the time, and far as drugs go, illegal ones are broadcast all over the news by which celebrity has to go to rehab due to falling off their wagons of not doing what they should or could of or would of done if they didn’t have the big bucks to waste on being wasted! Of course, this is just what I have gleaned from the news Medias, as all of you do too!

It is no wonder that many children can well become confused if they ever turn on anything with a picture that moves and has sound on it.

Are they being used as babysitters, still?

I sure hope not, at least not without parental disclaimers explaining why these people do socially unconscionable things that get all that air-time!

Am I being too, too? Not that sorry... Oops, did I say that out loud?

Since I don’t have any impressionable little ones anymore it is not my responsibility to decide what any of you who do have, do… but remember one thing when weeding through all that’s out there, think about when you were young once too, and so decide on that basis what you could understand at that age and what you feel is better to wait till later on, okay?
Just an un-requested idea from a non-relative.

Moving on…
Back to being on topic of needs, we ate lunch, a need, and then we went to Beall’s Outlet, since Monday is 15% off day, even on sale items and I finally found my new bathing suit and cover-up (two more needs to maintain my exercise program of ROM), the bathing suit was marked $24.99, regularly $88, on sale for 50% off so $12.50, the cover-up was marked $12.99 regularly $48 and so with 50% off was $6.50 now plus 15% off both for another $2.85 off, are you ready? Now with the tax included the grand total was $17.26! Big Ta Da!
Oh the bathing suit has a striped navy and apple green striped pattern with a solid navy skirted bottom, a nautical look with two gold-tone buttons simulating holding the straps on and the cover-up is also in the apple green color but gauzy and shoulder-less and longer than the suit, which is shorter than my old one; if I was thinner it would make a cute strapless summer dress.

Any-who... onward again...
I found an interesting article about how to speak your mind that I stowed away in my favorites, which I thought that you all might be fascinated with and I will save for another time…since I have gone on way too long here.

So with that said, allow me to be the first to wish you all a very happy good night and ask you kindly to count all your blessings and suggest that you share all those overages and we will too!

And next time please be here or be square, ya hear?
