Are you ready to rumble?

Internationally that is.
The Olympics opening ceremonies will begin in just a little while, at 7:30 P.M EST! Now how do they make it so beneficial time wise to us colonists? That was very kind of those Britt’s!

Perhaps, rumble is not the right connotation that we want to project, hmm?
Okay, than how about compete with the utmost capabilities proving that we are the best in whatever event that we come out first in; how’s that, better? That clears the air, since no specific country was mentioned, and we all know why they’re two hundred and five countries in this thing, amazing to me that the outcomes will all be over in just two weeks, truly unbelievable!

Decorum is expected from all and that means ladies and gentlemen equally; all of the participants, but many are still quite young, teenagers actually.
I found it quite an interesting bit of trivia that thousands of condoms have been distributed in the Olympic Village, hmm?
Well, I am all for safe responsible sex, but with Romney visiting Jolly Olde and he having already been caught shooting off those gaffs about readiness (That is for the whole shebang, not the little bangs, oops did I say that?)I seriously wonder Mr. / Governor what you would have to say about my previous sentence since he wants to shut down all the Planned Parenthood facilities and overturn Roe V. Wade, hmm; for all those competitors to bring home some bundles of joy that would pop-out around next May.
Better keep MUM man, your nickname might follow you home, imagine, Mitt the Twit; as such a catchy little thingy here in the good ole US of A? Not that great for a presidential candidate, true?
Not nice for our own at home games of competition, AKA, better known as, the political contest!
And here like there, winner takes all.
Sadly, no medals though, just four years or more of aggravation of trying to accomplish things with an opposing political party from your own, not to mention, while trying to avoid pot shots from your naysayers that have no idea what its really like dealing with people who really feel the need to make you fail and look bad.
Oh what fun being a candidate for office here or anywhere, politics are a dirty business but is treated as if it is a game, and we dear friends are the winners or losers of their outcomes.
If only they would play nice, hmm?
Nasty is not allowed in the Olympics in any of those contests, but here in politics no gentlemanly ways co-exist, guys what happened?
(Author’s note: we haven’t any women competing in our politics as of yet, this time, thus no reason to mention lady-like behavior)

I just want them to stop with the meanness rhetoric!
Many children and teens now eighteen come from divorced families and you are causing them all flashbacks!

I cringe when I hear the accusations and then how they turn them around to make it all alright after.
Nothing ever seems to change.
No matter who runs in these races; I truly believe there should be designated rules of order, not this disorder!
What happened to trying to be eloquent and decent?
Plain speak has gotten to be for us with only digs of unkindness and inaccuracy.
It has gotten so we no longer listen to the inundation of those damn commercials! Oops for the bad word, my cringe factor has gone wild!

We all know this to be true, how sad that now we don’t know who to believe anymore and wish we had another choice to vote for.

In closing, I wish that there were rules to our political games that made it possible to be civil like the Greeks who started this whole thing, right?
Wait, maybe I have that wrong, weren’t those original Olympics fought until the death?
I don’t know the whole story, but no, that won’t do here with our candidates, unless it is a basketball game, there ya go… that’s the answer!

On that bit of silly but one that might be the most logical way to decide our America’s future, you know it could work…allow me to be the first to wish you all a very happy good night and ask you kindly to count all your blessings and share your overages and we will too!

And next time please be here or be square, ya hear?
