Uh oh, congress must be eating out at Chinese restaurants, since that title was from my fortune cookie! Perhaps they got this same one?

Not funny and let’s hope they don’t really believe that, although we should, since it is more proof that those guys have got to go!

Yep, Chinese food night once again for us, gotta love it, we do.

Again we received a spare cookie and now I will tell you the remaining fortunes, okay?

I can’t hear you? …. Nothing?

That’s better; I will take your silence as approval for me to continue…

Hubby’s: “Whatever your life’s work is, do it well.” In his case, many times over and done and doing…

Mine: “The harder the conflict, the more glorious the triumph.”

Hmm; let me think a minute… Most of my conflicts end up badly; with losing a friend or family member with not speaking to them, oops you may have thought them to be knocked off, meaning dead, OH NO that is only in my mystery story writings!…

Although, perhaps it is just trying to let me know that learning to turn the other cheek is preferable? I am slowly learning…Nah; it says that conflict creates, “the more glorious triumph!”

Still not convinced, okay maybe my interpretation is all wrong…

Now I think I’ve gotten it, challenges in life, like when you stare adversity in the eye and succeed in spite of it that must be what it means! TA DA! I like it!

My wee brain is still functioning, but a bit sluggishly at times…

Well, that is a daily challenge to turn on the ole thinking ability and stretch its capacity to its non-emotional fullest! My tendencies seem to go towards the too emotional and too easily hurt feelings; working on it.

People encourage us to be robot like.

Now you are wondering what I mean?

Without emotion, non-human.

I thought that is what separates us from the Vulcans, although Mr. Spock was only half-Vulcan.

Seriously though I do understand there is a time and a place for emotion.

At work, crying is frowned on, I’m liking my pun, any-who the Speaker of the House John Boehner does it! He should have been fired for that years ago and maybe things would be different now, hmm? In my most unbiased opinion I think that might have worked, I’m just saying…

Many people have feelings and express them without much thought, and folks that is why they are called ‘feelings’ isn’t it?

Violence IS NOT a feeling; it is an enormous negative action.

Anger is an emotion.

Sadness is a feeling, got that?

Not all feelings are emotions and not all emotions are feelings, ya think?

You think you’re confused, what about me?

No change on day 5 of the shutdown… albeit, the idiots in congress are starting to believe the furloughed people should get paid, since not paying them is causing a ridiculous economic mess. You see, without them being paid they cannot pay their rents, mortgages, car payments, utility bills, go out to eat, buy things in stores or online… you get the idea. Besides, I think they are finally realizing that their actions yes, their violent stupid shutdown actions are causing AMERICA to look bad in the world theater and THEY KNOW THAT THEY ARE RESPONSIBLE!

SHAME TO THE NTH DEGREE!

ALL DUE TO THEM! THE GOP CONGRESSIONAL STAFF, TEA PARTY ET ALL!

Oops anger… a very bad thing, but it is great that I have this venue to express it in!

On that note of trying harder to be more than I profess to be… allow me to be the very first to wish all of you a very happy good night and ask you to kindly count all your blessings and share all your overages with you know who and we will too!
