RELIEF!
Ours has been so much simpler
these last several years since Hubby retired, eight now, but this year with paying for Obamacare we
were not too sure on how to handle it…since it must be with the subsidies
considered additional income, but…
You pay out of pocket for the
premiums and it is usually nearly double what the actually subsidy is so it
balances the “aid” out and you are still paying out more to comply with the new
law, and good news as we found out today a refund happens!
Yes, we are receiving one,
not enormous but slight. (It seems only fair with all the aggravation I went through and still am going through.)
Due to Obamacare and me
having to pay out of pocket what I had to.
You see, previously Hubby’s
pension had given us a choice to not take out from it during the year or take
out and receive it back at the end, and so after being two years into it we
opted for not taking the monies out monthly and therefore having more during
the year but no little windfall at year’s end, so this was a nice surprise, a
refund. For the last several years we had broken even not owing and not receiving a refund either.
Moving on…
My gland on my left side is
becoming a bit more than annoying and since I do have a slight fear of going
into any doctor’s office with my immune system pretty well compromised due to
the MS so I have a bit of a dilemma.
This just in:
Hubby just came home with dinner;
a full moon tonight means… you got that right! 1/2 price pizza pies from Bocca
Lupo! Extra large pies usually $15.00 for 18” now $7.50 a piece, we buy two one
to eat over two days usually and the other to freeze in increments of two
slices a piece for some lunches or perhaps another dinner in the future.
Tonight Hubby chose an
antipasto too, usually I go for the Greek but this is very nice too, a small
which is really large and also lasts a couple of days is only five bucks, what
a deal?
Actually, since Gus we have
not been eating out as much, and do on occasion take some items home, so we
have been saving on tips and or drinks when we do that and saving all around
anyway.
Back to: my gland and that's
only interesting to me ha, my health problem this time, any-who, my temperature is
going in the other direction again, causing me to be cold, not due to a fever but
because I have a below normal temp in the 97 degree range. Yep, thyroid comes
to mind again; perhaps I need my thyroid medications tweaked again? The throat and
all, but this is definitely a gland sort of behind my left ear but on my throat, the
thyroid is more centered and lower in the throat area.
Oh well, maybe it will go
away on its own?
On that note of I sure hope
so…, allow me to be the very first to wish all of you a very happy good night
and ask you all to kindly count all your blessings and share those overages
with you know who and we will too!
And next time please be here
or be square, ya hear!
