Tax Time!

In the process of doing our taxes as of today.
We, like most have received the proper documents to begin the yearly event that we have been doing for free online these last nearly, a decade, since Hubby's retirement.
But we stopped in our tracks today due to some questions that no one was available to ask, and so we will ask on Monday and hopefully complete the whole thing then.

Moving on...

Okey dokey, napping again today for what seems like way too long.

When my doc sent me the results of my echocardiogram and said that it was okay I happened to notice that if it had not been she did make room for a plan "B" right there on her notations with the name of a local cardiologist.
And coincidentally today I received a post card, addressed to me, of events on women's heart health and the doctor listed in her email is the doctor for the first one going on this coming month.
Interesting, I thought and I am considering going to a few, why not?

Any-who, dinner was from Wally's, and Hubby had their brisket sweet potato and cole slaw, and I had broiled Basa and sweet potato and cole slaw, a healthier choice, both with garlic bread.
It was a lazy day.

On that note of that is how we roll, allow me to be the very first to wish all of you a very happy healthy safe good night and ask you all to kindly count all your blessings and share all of your overages with you know whom and we will too!

And next time please be here or be square, ya hear!

Redundancy

I definitely feel like saying wash, rinse and repeat.
Not only is my tummy continuing its response in a negative way, but...
Today I tried to find out what happened to my ordered prescription that had been ordered on 1-18-16 with a  seven to ten day turn around.
This was the eleventh day, so I called and was shocked to find out that someone at Humana RX cancelled my order!
It is my Simvastatin 40mg., cholesterol medication that I have been on for ten years!
They took the better part of the day to get anything that could pass for what might have looked as if the problem was fixed, but again I did most of the work.
The resolve was ME calling my doctor to calling in another script to the local pharmacy for a two week supply until my ninety day supply via mail could be a rushed delivery! (Within five days, rush? Methinks not.)
Any-who, aggravation stemmed from being put on hold for hours at time, and each individual not knowing what to do without reading again what was put in the notes!
Efficiency be damned, must be the company motto.
Hubby even got on the phone for me a few times, gotta love the guy, and I do, since it was on speaker and they tape all calls, our anger mounted as they wore on OUR last nerves.
This whole process took from just after eight A.M. when they opened until nearly two P.M.!
Hubby also had aggravation when he went to take our car in for an oil change at Palm Auto Mall where we bought it only a little over a year ago new, usually even with an appointment it took two hours, today it took more than three!
Hubby heard a squeak in our car's rear end and so the young fellow took it for a wild test drive, throwing everything in the van all over the place.
And it seemed all of their employees attitudes were not friendly or right or professional.
One called here looking for Hubby, while he, Hubby, was just outside right there talking to another customer.
The fellow who called here admonished Hubby for he having to call our home number, he demanded the cell number from me when he called, and said it like do you have one?
I said yes we have two and we don't feel the need to give them out to strangers but I did acquiesce and gave him Hubby's to find him.
They did repair a minor recall on our air conditioner they said.

What's happening in this world?
Why are people so crazed?

Bad day, at least we have more to look forward to, days that is, and perhaps as always they could be a whole lot better, considering that today it did stopped raining and the forecast for the rest of the weekend is dry too!

On this note of always looking toward tomorrow,(I feel like Annie with sun and all!), allow me to be the very first to wish all of you a very happy healthy safe good night and ask you all to kindly count all your blessings and share all those overages with you know whom and we will too!

And next time please be here or be square, ya hear!

Better

Anxiety is a not so funny feeling.
Even the best of us on occasion suffer from this unattractive malady.
Last night I do believe that was a part of my problem, but not all.
Improper posture causes ribcage pain, MS spasms and GERD are always a part of my life these days playing havoc with me daily.
But... the good news is that my tomorrow doctor office visit has been cancelled!
By my doctor herself, all due to me receiving my echocardiogram and nuclear stress test results online via email with portal password protected information.
My nuclear stress test was fine, nothing remarkable or noteworthy.(My words, not theirs, but close.)
GREAT!
My echocardiogram was also not bad, with mild diastolic dysfunction only.(Part of aging, so I read online after. Honestly I forgot to ask the doc.)
No intervention at this time necessary.
FANTASTC!
Peace of mind is a wonderful thing and priceless.

Any-who, aside from this horrid constant rainy weather and flood watch, and my usual medical issues I feel as if I can take an enormous cleansing breath!

Although, my tummy does cause me to eat less at dinner time, which is good, see me seeing the silver lining.
I have the rest of dinner for lunch the next day usually.
Again I am lying in bed due to that my stomach cannot take upright positioning.
Whatever works, right?
Right!

On that note of a more positive one, allow me to be the very first to wish all of you a very happy healthy safe good night and ask you all to kindly count all your blessings and share all those overages with you know whom and we will too!

And next time please be here or be square, ya hear!

No email results this time

I have to go physically into the doc's office to find out if those heart pictures were good enough for Valentine's cards or who knows what.
Kidding.
I like my internist since we email messages back and forth, all business though, mine.
You basically can ask most questions that way and even receive blood work results.
Convenient with password safe portals on those emails.
Anyway, that is why I thought these results could be had via that method.
I emailed that I thought that we could do that and even after I did it via back at her email I knew in my heart of hearts that wasn't going to be for these types of tests for some unknown reason; I guess you could say that I had an inkling.
So I called to make an appointment and then with second thoughts asked if it was ok the other way and the fellow who answered the phone said it probably was and so I said to do it that way. (chicken little me.)
That was this morning after I had received an email from her saying to make an appointment for the 28th, are you following this?
Yep, that's me making things that should be simple complicated.
So after all was said and done her nurse called about a half an hour ago telling me I have to come in for the results.
Okey dokey!
The appointment was made after I gave her my song and dance about nasty weather coming in the next two days... yep AGAIN!
So we sidestepped the weather and I am scheduled for after it all, I hope.

I am a bit anxious about the end results.
I felt that most of my physical reactions during the tests were being caused by the good ole Multiple Sclerosis, especially the collapsible legs thingy, since it has happened before without all those tests.
And the low blood pressure I thought could have been caused by me meditating or at least calming myself by taking deep breaths, since I was also having spasms, also caused by my MS, during the whole shebang!
All in all I suppose the coming in is more a legal procedure, a CYA, ya know, yep that's it, than something is wrong, ya know?
Gosh, I think what I have is enough already!
No more room for this crap with possible more medicine, nope, not me done with that!

On this anxious wait mode, allow me to be the very first to wish all of you a very happy healthy safe good night and let me kindly ask you all to count those blessings and share all those overages with you know whom and we will too!

And next time please be here or be square, ya hear!

Brought to you by the letter "K".

For the last few weeks on Facebook interesting things have been happening.
When I try to write in many of the comments sections certain words are not able to be written.
"Thank you or my usual Thanks" are majorly used duos for me when people like my blog, but the "K" doesn't always print, meaning that sometimes it does.
I resolved this issue by using the "thanks or thank you" emoji's, but could not explain until now why I had no other choice, since there was no "k" to complete my verbiage, weird, ya know?
The other nicer oddity is that my icon for this blog had been not working for quite some time, the caricature of the blond sitting and writing on her computer, a vague representational cartoon of me.
Gosh, I don't recall how long she was gone for, but for the last few days she has returned, and to say I am happy would be a vast understatement.
Magical or black magic?
I suppose one of each?
Who knows...

Moving on...

Any-who, today I finished up my radioactive nuclear heart stress test.
For me once injected with the glow juice I sat upright on the examination table with my legs dangling and for three minutes I had to swing my legs.
After I did that, before that once again I had low pressure but it eventually came up before the injection, anyway, when I was to get off of the table my legs crumpled and I fell to the bottom step and so I was put into a wheelchair and for the next part I had to wait about thirty minutes for the glow juice to take affect; I suspect for this time it was for lighting up those photos. Oops I forgot to ask for my wallets, ha.
And that part was done back on another table in the nuclear room with a machine that looks slightly like an open MRI, but is not, it just takes pictures that once again I smiled for, and it took a mere fifteen minutes more with my arms over my head, ouch.

I had taken a banana to eat after since I could not eat lunch, coffee was provided by them.
Once again no blood pressure medication was needed, who knows why, crazy!
I have been on the lowest dose though for over a year now.
Maybe I don't need it anymore?
Who knows...

On this note of explanations that I hope are a little bit interesting, allow me to be the very first to wish all of you a very happy healthy safe good night and ask you all to kindly count all your blessings and share all your overages with you know whom and we will too!

And next time please be here or be square, ya hear!

Please tell me what to do...

Tonight's ideas are leaning towards the mundane in commentary.
Oh well, I must continue to not miss a day of this diary...
So here goes...
Our day was one of  a mini spring cleaning in winter.
Hubby took down our hallway and foyer light fixtures as well as the globes from our two bathrooms fixtures to be cleaned by me, my only contribution.
He did all the ladder work.
The day after the new additional fan was installed we had cleaned all the other fans and globes for their lights.
I had asked Hubby to also clean our upper kitchen cabinets and I would do the lower ones, but he did them all; what a guy!
I did accomplish a great dinner of pork chops Marsala with mashed potatoes and peas.
Oy Vey I hear my Jewish friends and relatives saying, well my husband isn't and he likes them, so there! ( I just stuck out my adult tongue!)

I also was able to throw two loads in the washer and dryer.
Ability to do some things makes one feel useful.

Needing to feel needed is harder daily, but I do try.

What?

Hope that made sense.

Any-who, allow me on this slightly bitter note to swallow of not that interesting at least let me be the first to wish you all a very happy healthy safe good night and ask you all to kindly count all your blessings and share all your overages with you know whom and we will too!

And next time please be here or be square, ya hear!

Speaking My Mind: Interesting familiar diagnosis for one and horrifi... :   But these are MINE! Not Hubby's! What he has is not contagio...
