I know, I know, you are all saying of course you are!
Yes I am, indeed I am...But not in the way you might be thinking.
For months( Actually years) I have been taking my two antispasmodics Gabapentin 1800 mg. and Baclofen 60 mg. daily and yet my hands torqued twice in the last week so severely I had to just stop what I was doing and go with the epileptic type contortion they both were directing themselves in, my feet too!
Right now my whole left leg is burning like rug burns, but over the entire leg evenly!
As far as I can tell about my eGFR dropping down to 32.05, as we all know that I am not a doctor but from what I could glean from all decent medical info like the Mayo, NIH, Johns Hopkins and other legit resources allowing my glucose to go up over 300 to 374 without medical intervention made my body think I was diabetic and dropped my great 70 eGFR plummeting to my all time personal low since January of 2017 when it was 50 eGFR down to that not great at all to a nasty 32.05!
Yes, type two diabetics are more susceptible to Chronic Kidney Disease, but once off the IV Solumedrol infusions I am not a diabetic at all, thankfully!
Not a very glamorous disease, Type 1 and 2 unfortunately have touched my family on both sides.
Medically to me I am a mystery. When I was in my late twenties I had four years with chronic kidney disease with a blockage of my right kidney, and threatened then with a kidney transplant. On my fifth year of my IVPs by age thirty-one, an ex-ray for kidney disease, miraculously the blockage had disappeared! It was just after my third miss-carriage, another four and half month pregnancy, loss. I was warned not to have anymore pregnancies, it was my fifth, but fortunately we had our two sons and I accepted that.
Sometimes from sadness comes something else.
Some things work for a while.
With me, as I also had three month successes with clinical trails for Fibromyalgia different off use drugs, way back in the late 1990s going to Tampa to the University Hospital there, round trip 200 miles, but Younger Son was at USF then so it was a threefer?
And so did Number One work right nearby too! Thus the threefer!
Happy good night all!
Count those blessings and we will too!
And next time please be here or be square, ya hear!
