No pics tonight

We did go to the veterinarian's at Banfield Pet Hospital in Pet Smart today for our appointment the check up of Bella and Aussie. Hubby was adamant that Bella should go first due to being phone diagnosed by a tech saying that all the pups from the organization we adopted her from had kennel cough.
Well, thank goodness she did not! So Aussie did not need a check up after all.
What the vet believes is that they both could be having colds, just darn old fashioned colds or allergies!
Her chest was clear, and her nose was not running while there.
I also mentioned their symptoms was not of coughing but sneezing and runny noses! Both have had all their shots so nothing major could be considered thankfully!
Although, I did mention the fact that I have been running the vaporizer, and even gave Bella some honey and both treatments met with the vet's approval.
How human of them, that is our furry pets!
I asked the vet if she could give Bella a better age guess, since we had two, and now we have three, between three and three and a half year old!
Oh well.
Her diet, weight and even her health was just right. We got one equivalent pill of Heartguard for her that last's a month since now I can order a year's supply from Drs. Foster and Smith online at a better price point, eight dollars savings for a year's supply with a $5 plus off coupon, but three dollars cheaper without and with free delivery! https://www.drsfostersmith.com/ They call your vet and go from there.

Moving on...

Number One Son called this morning before we left for the vet, he was down here at Fisherman's Village Marina where his sailboat is moored. He and his gal are taking it up to Tarpon Springs next month to get above the red tide line, and save a few hundred a month in the process.
Between our local marina being more expensive, and driving back and forth from where they live has proven to not be so cost effective either...oh well.
We can visit them up there! Tarpon Springs https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tarpon_Springs,_Florida is much closer to where they live.
It is a Greek sponge finding via boating village, with lotsa of Greek food and people and a museum and aquarium too, a rather charming little hamlet to visit, just above St. Pete Florida still on this southwest coast, a few hours north of here.
Number One Son lived for a time in New Port Richey https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/New_Port_Richey,_Florida, ,which is practically next door to Tarpon Springs and we would go there often.

Number One Son had called so we could get together and we did after we had gone to the vet in the opposite direction.
It was just a visit to chat and hug, it was just him, and since he had eaten lunch by the time he came over.
And we did not go there to Fisherman's Village because the vet said that our little ones should stay home while ill.
The visit was way too short, less than three hours!

Happy good night all!

Count your blessings and we will too! (Three more, Number One's visit and the not too sick furry kids!)

And next time please be here or be square, ya hear!
