Hubby's flu story got 99 hits last night and today! So thank you all for your concern!
Seriously, I wish there wasn't any story.
He seems to have hit a glitch with his recovery.
His temperature fluctuated again all day long, to nearly normal to not at all normal!
(98.7-101.3 degrees Fahrenheit)
Not good!
His congestion sounds horrific with him coughing, nose running, and aches and pain continuing too, and we had stopped the cough drops since he swallowed one whole while coughing!
Tylenol is still being used, as the only fever reducer, ( I had Googled Reyes Syndrome in adults and yes we too can get it with a bad cold or flu by using aspirin so don't, unless checking with a doctor: https://www.mayoclinic.org/diseases-conditions/reyes-syndrome/symptoms-causes/syc-20377255) so we have been using the Tylenol hours apart, as much as six or seven, too much of that is even not good. The vaporizer continues too.
A few minutes ago he just had me read an article on tea allergies on his phone! Just one of many sites on the topic: https://www.livestrong.com/article/295307-green-tea-allergy-symptoms/
Yes, apparently people can be allergic to tea and many of his symptoms are the same as an allergic reaction to tea, of all things!
So as per this insight we have decided to try the off the tea trial, and back to coffee, black with just sugar for him, his usual.
We will see how that goes...
Although, he did have HIS symptoms prior to any of the tea consumption!
He's in charge.
Although, I did get him to finish the chicken soup for his dinner, and he even had saltines.
Wow! What a day!
Trying hard to maintain Hubby's care.
Maybe he would be willing to drink the ginger ale we also have in the fridge?
We also have Propel, great for replenishing those electrolytes; originally bought for him working out in the heat, but definitely another great hydrator.
Happy the internet is right at our fingertips.
Not many medical personnel available on the weekends for questions.
On that note allow me to be the very first to wish you all a very happy good night, and ask you to kindly share all your blessings and we will too!
And next time please be here or be square, ya hear!
