Now pray with me...

Gotcha! Not needing your prayers, wishes or hopes for right now, but keep 'em handy if you would kindly... no one knows when there might be an actual call for such a wonderful gift of love and concern, truly.

My worries, no worries really but silly, just a teensy weensy bit of concern is aimed directly at my newest techno product that Hubby added into our arsenal of such devices that it appears we have acquired most recently, this is a direct hit at our newest the notebook.

Asus pronounced, A- SUS, is now downloading, would you believe 80 updates?
And the message said it will be started up automatically within the next day?
Now we did register today, making us legal, after we also installed with Geek Squad assistance our new anti-virus called WEBROOT, new to me, but perhaps not to you?
We have a six month introductory subscription to it from them.
Odd that the computer comes with McAfee built in, but they said it was no good or perhaps not as good?

Any-who, thank heaven for small favors and that this oldie but temperamental PC with combo parts that have been replaced over these last nearly eleven years that it has been in our home as a replacement after our previous one's tower was drowned from Hurricane Charley, August 13.2004, a Friday.

This just in: Hubby reported that it has accomplished 42 out of the 80!

So as I was saying I am using this one more days than I thought I would.
If any recall the reasoning of buying a more portable unit was due to my herniated lumbar disk making sitting up in a regular chair most uncomfortable.
And yes, at times that issue is still in my realm of adding into my other pain oriented ills.

But for short spurts this one can be not too bad after all and for times when my adrenalin has become full blown due to my techno frustrations with all this stuff the pain seems to lessen or at times enhance!
Reclining in a comfortable chair made for such things or my bed when it really gets bad are my M.O.'s for those times of needing the more portable unit.

Yesterday, a representative from the company who makes this new medication that the neuro doctor wants to put me on had called to discuss it with me and she did say that she would email me the particulars, but I have not received it yet. Apparently the blood work I had had said my kidneys were in good enough shape to put them to the test with this Ampyra for helping me walk faster!

That would be so cool!
To walk like I used to?
Okay, maybe not that fast where my tall drink of water thin Hubby had to nearly run to catch up to me...us shorties do have a habit of doing that someone told me once.
Like my voice loudness, and I don't mean yelling I mean just speaking due to wanting to be heard, sure enough! LOL!
Sometimes even when well and thin myself and young and not too bad looking people occasionally would overlook me while I tried my darnedest to be listened to.

So speaking loud had the appropriate affect and people would pay attention.
Later on in life it served me well when I became an Aquatics teacher for the elderly, since they had to take out their hearing aids in the pool, most said they could still hear me!

Just checked with Hubby, apparently #42 update is a long one, since it is still being installed.

Moving on...

Again the pool was delightful again, and I did do my shoulder exercises with all the rest, which seem to be helping since once again I slept till that ungodly hour of after eight A.M. till 8:15, but without an interruption of a headache in the night causing me to stay awake for a couple of hours, I slept right straight through, another shocker!

Not having pain is a godsend and I do suspect that was most of the reason, although my ear still creates a need to find a careful positioning even with my foam hole to place my ear through, everything has to be just right, and I guess it was!

On that note of no prayers yet policy, put them on hold for me or whomever needs them in the interim anyway, and allow me to be the very first to wish all of you a very happy good night and ask you all to kindly count all your blessings and share all your overages with you know whom and we will too!

And next time please be here or be square, ya hear!

PS Last night's movie was " The Book Thief", 2013. there was a hint of The Diary of Anne Frank's, but much different in the sense from the other side of what some thought were all our enemies...a movie to see for yourself if you haven't yet; another vantage point of World War 2's people's story. All in all it was worth the two plus hours of viewing time. Come to think of it it has a better ending and the same concept, but you decide.
