We got up, got out and got active!

I had forgotten to mention that there is a whole booklet that goes along with those bracelets from last night.

Sorry about cutting off the top so here’s what it says above for business is that it’s Open for Business and above that says Charlotte County Community Services IS…OPEN FOR BUSINESS!
Alrighty now, and then goes on to tell you about programs and services in our parks and libraries etc.

And so now we all know.

Moving on…

Today I again was able to do my mini circuit of exercise equipment and increased my reps on them, good for me all around, small steps, but my steps, hmm?

Distraction seems to work best and it turns out that this older couple that I have been chatting with and the husband had had a stroke two years ago on his right side is doing nicely even with his speech coming back ever so slightly, his wife told me that he had said Good Morning!
I said WOW. She is exhausted and I asked where they were originally from and she said Bethlehem I suggested Pennsylvania she said no where Christ was born, how about that?
Tis the season and a first for me, never met anyone from there before.

Her accent was rather heavy, but she and her husband looked Mediterranean especially when she said that his name is Sal and hers was; now I am not exactly sure but I think she had said Vermilion or something like that but Vermilion is the color red, right? Right: Vermilion - Image Results

Pretty and I suppose that it would make a lovely name, but Middle Eastern? Who knew?

Anyway they are a lovely devoted couple.

After the gym/rehab we left and went over to eat lunch, we were heading for Ruby Tuesdays at the mall with some coupons I had acquired in the mail when we noticed that Longhorn Steakhouse that had recently been built was now open, and when we went in we had found out that they actually opened on October 27th! How many times had we passed by and not realize? Shame on us.

Their lunch menu is affordable and I ordered what you shouldn’t at a steakhouse, shrimp and lobster chowder, but it was good with a Caesar salad, just $6.99, Hubby ordered a steak sandwich with potato soup for $8.99 and both were quite good, we had ice water with our selections with lemons on the side...

After lunch we headed back over to Lowe’s with the objective to purchase tile grout cleaner when the salesman looked at the label with Hubby realizing that it was mostly muriatic acid that we do on occasion use to clean the pool decking and long ago to remove rust, caused by the sprinklers, off of our brick home on the other coast.
So a while back I stocked up on it and we have four whole bottles left!

And then we came home saving money on that.

On that note of trying hard to accomplish life like everyone else, allow me to be the very first wish all of you a very happy good night and ask you all to count your blessings and share all your overages with you know who and we will too!

And next time please be here or be square, ya hear!
