Did you ever feel like you are so confused that you don’t know where to turn? Since where you turn to is where you thought they had the right answers to the right questions to help you with your medical issues? And so I went to the doctor today, the internist with the less than nice patient comments, which to be fair were only five. And she was very nice to me and Hubby. And did order two specific tests, an ultrasound of my thyroid and fasting blood work for the week after Thanksgiving; so I called my insurance company and apparently since I have at $2000 deductible those tests will be out of pocket with the new premium due within four days after…No way to get any different answer either… since even the cap for hospitals is an additional $2000, yes making the out of pocket for the year, $4000! With paying a monthly premium of nearly $400! Does this seem right to you? I am at my wit’s end. That’s a lot of cash up front for us, and I have a little less than three years for Medicare to kick in, if it will still be there. No sleep and now this. Pain is not going away… it’s true it is NOT constant but just when I think all is well…I AM NOT! Stress is also known to cause exacerbation and distraction is harder to do than you may think. I suppose my first idea of NO insurance was a better idea. Although, the stress from dealing with that was exhausting too…We need to reform our healthcare programs for all AMERICANS! I’m too tired and emotional to fight this fight anymore…I’m about to give up. Life would be easier without illness, but I have too many! I want to go back to a time when I was well… Good night.
