ONE AFTER ANOTHER...

Do you know what really gets us in trouble in life? I'm going to take a shot at that, in my opinion, which you all know how much, that's worth... My usual is when I am sticking my nose into other peoples businesses and I do that all of the time so why should tonight be any different... And there are always ramifications when I say something and I can't take it back, and my blood boils, of course; it is my own fault. There are a lot of things that meet my title of tonight, but my first paragraph is not one of them; potato chips come to mind, although, believe it or not, this fattie doesn't care for those very much. I suppose that commercial about, “I bet you can't eat just one”, is sort of like a song that we can’t get out our head. Wasn't it the lament of another commercial, one after another, after another and on and on it went. And here’s one more, “I can’t believe I ate the whole thing?” I felt like saying, sure you can! Can we actually blame commercials for causing the obesity problem of today? Some believe we can. They say children who the Saturday morning programming is for, why they get inundated with commercials about sugarcoated this and that’s, although I do believe it may be changing, hooray to that! Although, our sons grew up with those and were never ever fat… Many things in life could be considered something we have to do on a fairly routine basis. But to us making a bed, urinating/defecating, brushing our teeth, bathing, preparing food, going to work or school, coming home are all things that have to get done. Shocking, especially in the way I put everything in an odd order, I am sure many of you do things in the order that is best suited to your needs, ha. Mundane, of course means, ordinary, dull, run of the mill, commonplace, average, you get the idea and so I just proved my point that sometimes, one after another, is necessary to maintain a system to accomplish what needs to be done no matter what. The problem arises only when your days also become so mundane that you cannot recall what day it is, because, one is just like the other, one after another, but there's no way that will ever change, really! So the next time something changes things in your mundane way of life on a specific day, shout hallelujah, since change can be oh so nice too. Even if it's teeny, a blip in time, but so is everything as we all know. The reality of ‘one after another’ keeps us focused and is nice to know that it's there and has to be maintained to somewhat get us from point A to point B and hopefully back again. And so the next time you're complaining, not like me but about something really important that got your day all screwy, remember the days, the much more quiet days that you became bored and take a deep breath and smile; yep, that's it, smile a big broad one! And you can remember easily for a BIG BROAD told you to, ha! Sadly, I must admit most of my days are 'one after another', and sometimes I don't remember if today is Tuesday or Wednesday or Saturday or Monday what-have-you, or even the month, no I'm not that bad yet, but when days are too similar; let's face it they can get rather boring and so although I have much trauma and drama on a regular basis to me I adore to be bored, ta-da! I suppose in my case boring is good. Everyone remember that we all have trauma and drama in our lives and if we wish to share we shouldn't be put down for allowing that… In my mind sharing is caring and always somehow many of us find the commonalities in our lives that way and know we are not alone. On that periodic disclaimer of mine on why I do what I do, allow me to be the first to wish you all a very happy good night and ask you kindly to count all your blessings and share all your overages and we will too! And next time please be here or be square, ya hear!
