People in the news.... and more things that interest me and perhaps even you?

Tonight I wanted to weigh in on serious stories in the news, but with not enough information to decide what is what I tend to close up the opinion box.

Formally, when I have what I believe to be the facts, not always the correct ones, but the ones that all forms of the media set out for us in the need to know business of our curious minds.
You see take the shooting of that young seventeen year old man, Trayvon Martin in Sanford Florida what I have been listening to is mostly hearsay, as Perry Mason might have said, but I am no Perry Mason.
Who is/was Perry Mason why he was the bestest TV Attorney that ever was, he won nearly every case he took to trial!
“Perry Mason is an American legal drama produced by Paisano Productions that ran from September 1957 to May 1966 on CBS. The title character, portrayed by Raymond Burr, is a fictional Los Angeles defense attorney who originally appeared in detective fiction by Erle Stanley Gardner. Many episodes are based on actual stories written by Gardner, others are based on characters created by him. At one time, the show was "television's most successful and longest-running lawyer series."[3] Another series starring Monte Markham as Mason ran from 1973 to 1974, and thirty made-for-TV movies aired from 1985 to 1995, with Burr returning as Mason in twenty-six of them.”
Thanks to Wikipedia for the above clear info.

This George Zimmerman as we all know is the man who undeniably shot the youth. What has come into question the Florida law of ‘Stand Your Ground Law’, now as we all know Trayvon is not here to tell his end of this horrific incident of death, since he is the victim? And that is whether or not the accused by the public, George Zimmerman did this in self defense or in cold blood.
Apparently, he was questioned and released since the local state attorney felt that it was according to the above law.

As this plot to this real drama sickens us in the public with taking up the chant of wanting justice for the young fellow, let us not forget that this is America, and we should all remember that we are NOT vigilantes even with so much telling us that this event was not Trayvon’s fault or asking for at all… We must unify in asking for justice for Trayvon Martin and with that know that we all want all the facts so it is done properly to the letter of the law.
So no one does get away with anything!
I do know that in recent years we as a state, i.e. Florida has made the national news on these less than what we would all like to think justifiable ways of handling things, but it is no fault of us individuals who live here if we don’t vote for changes that make differences in many of our archaic or unjust laws!

Well, that is all I wanted to say, since it is all still ongoing and I am not as informed as I would like to be, but life in my own small world has a way of distracting me, as I am sure many of you too.

Now to something in the news, well not really the news a few announcements Katie Couric is doing a fill in stint on Good Morning America on ABC this week, and so what does her old stomping ground of the Today Show on NBC do, up her transgression, although maybe they forgot her few years as a nightly news anchor on CBS any-who they bring in tomorrow Sarah Palin, loser of the last election and quitter of her governorship before her term was over to anchor, now ‘anchor’ is a wild thing and I bet it is on her bucket list to do on a major network, for I seem to recall reading somewhere that she did do something in an obscure market in the middle America realm, hmm?

I suppose the fact that Katie made Sarah look rather well, shall we say not as bright as she may very well be, with that interview during that election campaign three and half years ago, might be sweet justice for whom?

Matt Lauer already teased her, Sarah, while in transit today on Today about reading those newspapers for perhaps an interview they may give her, hmm?
Now will she too be able to make a monkey out of her victim/ interviewee?

Stay tuned, at first I was not going to watch, since, well let’s say I am not one of her fans, but dear Sarah, can I call you that I am very curious on how you will handle yourself on live TV with only seconds of delay if you mess up…not that I would wish that on you or anyone for that matter.
I’m not one of your ‘Haters’ as you call people who aren’t interested in what you have been doing or have said or anything for that matter, but I am oh so interested in all of those things, since you have managed to do nearly nothing at all and stay in the limelight, and that fascinates me!
Since I too am of that same mold but I am half blind and barely can walk and about twenty years you’re senior… but who knows… I could have been you! But nah our political views are at extreme opposite ends of the spectrum, but there for the grace God goes me.

On that gotcha, allow me to be the first to wish you all a very happy good night and ask you to kindly count all your blessings and share those overages and we will too!

And next time please be here or be square, ya hear?
