Compounding the day of busy

And so our day went… we left fairly early from our compound and I believe we accomplished all we set out to do.
First stop was Tractor Supply, I know it sounds like we are farmers, well I guess we are small vegetable gardening ones, but that’s not why we went there today they happen to have the best price on our wild bird seed and it was on sale and so we bought two bags full!
From there we went to my ophthalmologist’s office to pick up the information on what he saw in my eyes and why he believes that I should have more surgery to improve even my right legally blind eye. This was so I could have it to give to my neurologist when I go next week to see her. Next stop was Bed, Bath and Beyond to use our 20% off coupon on a salad spinner since mine broke and with all my healthy salads it is a must have for anyone who doesn’t want a wilted salad. This one came with a few slicing attachments and with the discount was only four dollars more than my old one without them.
Next stop was to look in Michaels Crafts just for the heck of it and since they are in the same shopping plaza as BBB, any-who I hadn’t been in there in quite some time since compared to Joanne’s they are massive and a wee bit confusing to me. My only analogy I can come up with is when I had been going to my local libraries as a child and then while in college in NYC got my New York public library card, WOW, culture shock and slightly intimidating!
Well, maybe a slight exaggeration but you get my gist, huh?
Both great places for the simple crafter to the major artist for supplies, and today my just looking took me over to the sale on mosaic kits and for just $3.49 I bought one for a garden pot which I foolishly believed was included, stop laughing at me, but listen the kit used to be priced at $27.99, so that wouldn’t been so far fetched and perhaps you might have thought that too? It did show a small clay pot decorated with the tiles on the box, not some massive enormous thing so it did seem to be a logical assumption, uh oh, oh no, I did assume, shame on me…

Since Hubby had me in my scooter for all these errands and across the parking lot was TGIF, the restaurant and after all it was close to two and we had not had any lunch yet so I scooted over there while Hubby walked alongside. The ramp oddly enough was way on the other side facing the main thoroughfare and so we met at the door coming from opposite ends of the place.
I had a nice cup of tomato bisque and a wedge salad, while hubby had a healthy chicken sandwich with fruits and avocadoes. He was going to order what I fondly call a heart attack special, a burger with bacon and cheese! But I suggested he read the description of the other offer below it and to the right of the burgers and it became his final choice, it even came with sweet potato fries. He had coffee and I had my unsweet iced tea with lemon.
After lunch we went over to Wal-Mart for my hair product to maintain my naturally blond hair, ha! And lastly on to Home Depot for replacement plywood for a fix it job for the side sheds that doors were wicking up the water from our recent storms since they were made out of that particle board type material inserted on the back of the cement stucco board to make the six doors for that long narrow shed in our side courtyard.
Hubby had them tear the one sheet down to two twelve inch by eight foot long pieces with a larger one left over so it could fit on the roof of the car due to me and my scooter taking up where he would have had to put them with us there taking up the space they would have gone, me and my scooter that is, got it?
We were only gone for about five and half hours but it was a day of completion of all desired projects and efforts.

Interestingly enough though, a few hours after we arrived home I did check, and since I do write it down when I do take it in a calendar book that they give you, I found out in my rush to leave I had forgotten to take my Copaxone shot!
This was the second time I did it but that last time was on the next day when I finally realized it and so I took that one then. This time I was slightly confused and so I called Shared Solutions and they said to just take tomorrow’s tomorrow, easy enough.

Dinner tonight was leftovers and catcher catch can as they say, now who are they…?
And now I am ready to wish you all a very happy good night and to ask you kindly to count all those blessings and share those overages and we will too!

And next time please be here or be square, ya hear?
