Late!

Late is: not on time, behind schedule, belatedly, delayed, tardy or overdue.
Whew not that many synonyms for the word 'late', but just the right amount to make it another word to watch for in the ‘to use another word for world', huh? Creativity never ends and neither does a Thesaurus! Or so it would seem…hmmm… LOL!

Tonight I was late with getting this blog out to you due to us going over to our across the canal neighbors for an evening of pleasant conversation and dinner.
And we’re not unhappy with the outcome of that visit since it was extremely enjoyable.
We met other neighbors that were fairly new from across the street from them also who are also snow birds, but from Pennsylvania and live here for more than the six months than our Canadian friends are allowed.
They own a B&B, bed and breakfast up there, which I imagine they do only in the summers, since they said they are here more than six months a year.
The cross conversation was a bit confusing for me to follow although there were only the six of us, but my brain is not used to it anymore. When I used to be a multi-tasker and in better mental and physical shape then I could follow many conversations or do many things at one time but sadly not anymore.

And even though I had a wonderful five hours!
I am quite pooped.
You see, earlier today Hubby and I went on a few outings. The first was to get my hair cut, and then on to the Cultural Center for lunch and the library over there. I found five books, four from Linda Fairstein who was on the Today Show this morning talking about her newest book. And I had never read her before so I thought I would try her, nothing ventured nothing gained, huh? The other one is a Patricia Cornwell, her latest.

We had another bargain lunch today at the center with corned beef sandwiches on rye bread, big ones like in a New York deli and but with no cole slaw only spicy mustard and a better pickle than the last one I had there and all for six bucks each, plus one side salad for $1.75. Hubby decided on no beverage, his choice, not mine but I had my water with me and there it is just fine with them.

My Ohio cuz did email with the info I requested which was her email address. This is silly but I have two people with such similar addresses that I sometimes send the info I meant for the one to the other and vice versa, got that?
And now I hope I can remember…
Oh and tomorrow night I think I might write about ‘Necronym’, why in some religious cultures we only name our children after the beloved who have passed away, and why today many don’t.

On that somewhat mysterious ending to a short but hopefully sweet blog, let me be the first to wish you all a very happy good night and to remind you all to kindly count those blessings and share those overages and we will too!

And next time please be here or be square, ya hear?
