Due to things beyond my control I ended up weeding much of our front garden today. Hubby was in no mood to, and yet with our cooler temperatures I really felt there was no alternative. As you can see by the before pictures it really, really needed attention and still does. I even called a guy to get a price, and he said he would give me one just send the photos to his phone, and then that is when, while taking the pictures I started doing the weeding. I did call the guy back, and told him that I had started to do it myself.
I spent quite a bit of time doing it, when I was well I had put those gardens in, I was the weed and feeder of our lawns too, and Hubby just mowed and trimmed, he never liked all "my" gardens, and now that I have been in such bad shape they have gotten out of control.
Sadly, I guess we both took a blind eye to them, and since I refused his offer to kill off the weeds with our usual weed killer that most recently made the news due to, in case you missed it: Jurors give $289 million to a man they say got cancer from Monsanto's Roundup weedkiller
The yard is a mess, and I will have to try again tomorrow before I take any after PICS!
The dead palm fronds showing in the bottom of the first two picks are in a garbage bucket, just in case you thought that was more dead plant matter on the lawn!
This just in: Plaza Mexico left too many things out of our order and so I called there and they are going to make it right, only thing is Hubby had to drive back up there with our partially eaten food.
They forgot things like the refried beans and tomatoes with Hubby's and the avocadoes and jalapeƱos in mine, my vegetarian choice. This was the second time so I thought I would tell them, since Hubby asked twice about the jalapeƱos before he left there, due to the fact that they had forgotten them last time and we said nothing. This is not that cheap a place, as you can see by their web site.
Any-who, they are making it right!
Happy good night all!
Count those blessings and we will too!
And next time please be here or be square, ya hear!

And most all poisons are just that, I was concerned for Hubby and our furry kids, thus not coming up with an ecologically safe alternative yet!
Long story short, there is much more to be done still!
And after two showers one before and one after I cannot straighten out/up!
I am in bed and Hubby went out to pick up dinner.
