Sovi Joseph M.D., gastroenterologist, when he heard all my stuff, he was very nice and pleasant and commiserated, not unlike Dr. Casanova my internist, so yeah he is very likable with a very good bedside manner. Hubby had gone to him years ago and had recommended him to me, believe it or not!
And after all that he ordered an EGD and EUS, an EGD is https://www.healthline.com/health/egd-esophagogastroduodenoscopy and an EUS is https://www.mayoclinic.org/tests-procedures/endoscopic-ultrasound/about/pac-20385171
Basically and endoscopy and an endoscopic ultrasound, but the sites with their hot keys above are more informative.
So within the next two weeks they will be done, just waiting now to hear from the hospital for time scheduling.
That will be a very busy week since that is also the week for my pain center thoracic procedure and my follow-up internist appointment a couple of days after.
Moving on...
Hurricane Michael, nearly a CAT 5, only 2 mph short of the 157 MPH at 155 when making landfall that devastated the northern Gulf portion of our state, over seven hours north and west of here!
BIG STATE Florida!
Panama City Florida, and Mexico Beach Florida flattened!
Horrific!
Love, concern and prayers to all affected by the hurricane, and that is including Georgia and Alabama as well as South Carolina as it thoughtlessly plowed through those states too!
