He's a Republican that had been verbally accosted by a very emotionally charged woman that cornered him in an elevator with expressing her fears and concerns that echoed most all Americans in respect to sexual assaults, did anyone get her name! She should be commended!
After that display of a true American saying her peace the senator had a meeting with an open mind to talk to the Democratic Party Senators who had been saying all that during as well as when the inquiry went, on and on and on, yesterday!
The FBI has a weeks' time to get the witnesses in for interviews.
Sounds fairer than the previous way of ignoring all that transpired yesterday.
So far Judge Brett Kavanaugh's childhood friend, Mark Judge has agreed to be interviewed. He is named in Dr. Christine Ford's telling of her horrendous sexual assault experience that summer of 1982!
Mr. T just ordered the investigation by the FBI!
Moving on...
Hubby's temperature has been within the normal range, at times as picture perfect as 98.6!
It has been fluctuating.
His appetite has been better and he has had three meals today, yes already, we eat dinner early, at five-ish!
Any-who, he asked to take me for my chest X-ray and so we went.
We were going to go to Harbor Walk in Punta Gorda, but he said he could not think of anything that he wanted to eat out.
So after the X-Ray place we stopped at Publix and he ran in for stocking up on chicken soups (canned) and Propel/Gatorade for being prepared for any ills that might come our way!
Although, he did pick up another rotisserie chicken that I will probably make soup out of when it is down to nearly bones.
In the interim we have eaten the chicken with salads, it comes as a dinner with two salads and Hawaiian sweet rolls! We decided to get their macaroni and their sweet Cole slaw both decent, but our own potato salad that we had made just yesterday.
Hubby gave me too generous portions, that I returned nearly half.
I too had a 100.8 and a swollen gland on the left side of my neck.
Lotsa lemon flavored club soda, and warm compress is the Googled prescription.
I cannot take Tylenol due to my liver enzymes.
But ice packs worked in the movies if I go up.
I realized today that I forgot to get my flu shot this year, always in September for me, Hubby somehow got moved to November.
Now with this stuff going on, more the temp than the gland I do not believe they will give me one, yet.
Last year was the first time we both got the flu in spite of us already having the shot, we go yearly for many years!
So many strains.
We both had had the lifetime pneumonia shots, thankfully a few years ago!
