Did that get your attention??? Alright, that is referencing my nearly all-natural ruby locks, no different than my once golden nearly natural but perhaps more so than locks of blonde, since my Mom and Grandmother both had red tones naturally in theirs. I was told about my grandma's since she had passed away six months before I was born! Actually, she was killed in a car accident with grandpa driving that said car as the story goes... when he had a heart attack!!! They were in Florida for the winter yes, way back when... either December 1949 or January 1950, since I was born in July that year! Oops, I did it again... is nothing sacred??? Who cares when getting older is all that counts, true? True. Death is the only alternative to that...! That grandma was around her mid-fifties only, and my Dad's side grandma died of Diabetes within that year too, and also too young to go... so I never met my grandmas,... oh POO!
Any-who, so this is an homage to them, my Mom who too has been gone since 1982 from a stroke and her Mom, that was stated that she was from the UK! But arrived in the states with her parents at the age of 2, in 1893 I believe!
And my Mom always told me of her singing voice and her red hair!
Thus my reasoning for mine these last few years.
The process is done by me as was my golden locks, L'Oreal Excellence 8RB because I'm worth it! I don't know about that, I am just quoting their old commercials?
I can only try to be...nah... never will be!!! Too much pressure and for what???
Moving on...
Staying with the prudent aspect of exercise when you are not a perfect specimen anymore, never was really! I am still on every other day of the exercise plan. So today was my day off.
Good day to WOW Hubby with my Ruby locks renewed!
Moving on...
Hubby put up his EZ-up look-a-like
to work some more on the invasive trees around our pond garden... but now is taking a break. He just went back out...
The heat is as bad here as it is in many parts of this country as well as the world!
We have a predicted 94 degrees Farhenheit air temperature today, with a feels like well into the triple digits!
So Gatorade in the Zero kind, low sugar, just five calories, not Zero as its name suggests... but with the same great electrolytes that our bodies crave and need in this ungodly weather, even in FLORIDA!!! Even when coming into airconditioning to refresh! Or for me the pool too.
Moving on again...
Listening to even small blurbs of DeSantis' commentary is so much like who he is a clone of... ORANGE FROTHY-HAIRED GUY, the one who sat and did nothing but only caused disharmony in our White House for four too long years and claimed he was the man in charge!!!
It insults my better judgment, but the phrase, " keep your friends close and your enemies closer" https://grammarhow.com/keep-your-friends-close-and-your-enemies-closer/ comes to mind, so we know what he is up to. So I do listen to his news jabs.
Lastly, maybe something?
Our today's morning sunrise...!
And so we must go, for now ...
I am called Aussie because my Mom asked a sixteen-year-old girl, who had been looking at me in the crate at the adoption site that day she was asked what she thought I should be named, and without hesitation, the teenager had said Aussie! She was just looking, by the way,... so Mom did not steal me from her.
We never did find out the girl's name, and Mom liked the name Aussie too. We have since found out that it is a very common name, but it is still just right for me! My parents think that I am uncommon though,... some might say even unique! I do like that.
I am an Australian Shepherd. Here is an interesting factoid about me, I was supposed to be a miniature Australian Shepherd, but... as you might know, I AM NOT! Although I am now three years old, so I am the baby, though I tip the scales at around seventy pounds, HA! I must admit, a very big one!
I was three months old when Mommy and Daddy adopted me. I had been taken out of a hoarder's home in the Carolinas with my litter. Below is my new PIC that had been taken on the birthday that I share with my Dad, but Dad is much, much older than me!!! I was the first to be adopted, February 16, 2018, his brother's birthday.
Please don't forget me, I am Chance, pictured above, a Bichon Frise! I am six years old, so they think, and the eldest, and I like getting up early with Mom and Aussie. Bella sleeps in with Dad, till after seven most days, even later! I enjoy a good tug-a-war on the ropes that Dad had twisted for Aussie and me, and sometimes even Bella plays too! I was the last to be adopted, on January 23, 2020.
I was wandering the neighborhood for days and then saw Aussie and Bella in their living-room window, so I hung out there... The Animal Welfare League checked me out and kept me for sixteen days until I was allowed to be adopted. Good evening?
The animal control lady was called and came out to see if I had a chip I.D. with her machine, and Dad told her that he wanted to name me Chance. His reason being, that if no one claimed me, I want to give him a second chance! So that is how I got the name Chance!
Easy as Aussie, Bella, Chance, now you got it!
