Change of topic since we all have to wait anyway in this pseudo normalcy world by this pseudo normalcy gal!

I spent a good part of the day at the hospital... since my baclofen pump has decided to stick way out, and so I called the surgeon and told him and he said to go to the emergency room at the hospital and I did.

NASTY!!!

After a total of five X-Rays taken they finally allowed me to go home... in the interim, my surgeon's office made an appointment with Hubby who I sent home... since there was a message to call them when he arrived at home.

Originally when I called Dr. Douglas Hershkowitz neurosurgeon I had gotten his service and they wanted to page him if I considered it an emergency... Gosh at first instinct I didn't want to bother him at the early hour so I hung up before giving my name... I went in the shower that usually makes me feel better... but this time it didn't and my problem did not diminish. So I called back and gave my name and he called me back and said go to the hospital emergency and tell them to call me/him for he wanted this situation to be X-rayed, and that is what I did!!! The doctor saying that Friday he would put some additional sutures in it to keep it in place...

Wildly and ridiculously the Dr. Green in the Fawcett Emergency kept asking me why I was there... telling me these pump pop out. I had to explain to him a few times why and what I was there for... scary!!!

The last time in July I had foolishly pushed it down and that is when the catheter twisted and caused all sorts of problems, so this time I told myself DO NOT DO IT!!!! I had to have emergency surgery then too! The pump was installed in me on February 24, 2020. Aspirated March 7, 2020, July 22, 2020 emergency surgery for its twisted catheter, all done at the same hospital by the same doctor...

And so I haven't.

So here I lay in my bed, not that foreign for most days this is where I reside...woefully so.

My fate is once again in others' hands and tomorrow the decision once again to fix the problem?

Moving on...

Let's go with the flow with Joe and wait patiently for the end results of the count, shall we???

Of course, I hope that he and Kamala win!

And so we must go...

Be smart and be safe!
Happy good night to all!
