Always thinking...

Woman Screaming and Crying in Frustration While Getting ...

About what motivates us as human beings or does not motivate us.
Every generation has its own ideas of what is important most thankfully family first, then usually good jobs money and playing hard due to working that way too.
Some feel money is the do all end all.
If you don't have it you cannot do what you want to do, true.
So goal setting had/has begun.
Many used to learn as children to save money why in elementary school we even had bank books to make weekly deposits of change in those days, and yes this was in the middle of the last century.

Imaginary monies were given to teach the stock market. I did well with purchasing Xerox, sadly with fake money though. I was ten or twelve either fifth or seventh grades can't remember which.
I did tell my Dad and asked him as an adult why he didn't buy Xerox back then, he said would you have listened to a child about the stock market?
Oh well a precocious one I suspect. We were given one of those.
Dad did alright with his own choices.

We had our own businesses in the 1970-80s, underground sprinklers, a wicker store and lastly a restaurant and our word meant everything.

Today it means, left to interpretation by usually the owner, but not always...

Some owners are in sync with the old ways of doing business, fair price, being on time, and even when not completely sure the customer's opinion "trumps" the not so clearly assumed way to handle the situation including mistakes. Meaning, " the customer IS always right!"
Although, we do realize that in the real world that is not always true, or right.

I suppose being more able to deal with the public is what I am saying because in any business class any student knows that without customers you don't have a business!
From the smallest Mom and Pop turnkey to the largest corporation, the bottom line IS the bottom line and it is driven by the market and therefore customers!

Motivation occurs.
Desire to be competitive.
Hearing your customers.
Tweaking your business plan.
Equals success!
Sadly my list has no logical cutesy acronym, MDHTE?

Closets By Design out of Ft. Myers Florida is here replacing our laundry room cabinet doors all six. The only one that had not started to separate the tri-foil white raised designed cabinets installed back in 2005 or thereabout, they were under warranty so no charge!
It seems that some of the doors were initially installed wrong and so now they are leaving with my new ones that did not have their handles predrilled or some such thing as well as the old ones!... And don't forget all of this is for free! Including that they were initially supposed to be here this morning/early afternoon 10A.M. to 1 P.M. and a wrong address was given that was not here!

The timeline got screwed up for installation ordering new ones etc. took a while so they are working overtime on Saturdays to keep up with the service calls.

Apparently, the manufacturer of this particular product did not do a good job of producing his/her product all those years ago so many separated and they have been replacing them with better-made cabinets for quite some time. See a responsible company does exist! Good for CLOSETS BY DESIGN!

They are working hard to make good on this product.
That is all for tonight... good people do exist.
Always remember that!

Happy good night to all!

Count those blessings and we will too!

And next time please be here or be square, ya hear!

Take it, Bella!
I did this so I will be.

Aussie shut it down!
