The young male of under age to purchase if the laws were even in effect now, a child of a mere seventeen who committed these horrific mass murders of ten, and ten lying in hospitals with two still critical attained his weaponry from his Daddy's legal arsenal unlocked or picked locked within his very own home in Santa Fe Texas?
Sure guns don't kill people, people do. As they pull the trigger.
When do parents know that these smaller versions of themselves will do the unthought of worse scenario of any parents most horrid nightmares for their child committing?
GUNS GUNS GUNS are not doing these murders by themselves people are responsible for driving them into innocents victims!

Murders have been committed with hammers, knives, vehicles, water/drowning, you name it so-called human beings hating enough can find a way to do their most gruesome hideous harm to another human being extraordinarily!
I wish I knew the answer to stop that behavior!.
But logically making it more difficult for potentially lethal weaponry to not be so easily attainable, should be one of the many answers!
But in this case would that have worked? I do not think so, read the first paragraph. Parents have to treat all children under twenty-one with safely locking away probable harmful items in their homes, true? Medication, guns, keys to the car etc. anything a head strong or angry young person might find and use nefariously!
Sadly, the law enforcement people said there were no telltale signs, the usual ones that at least gives you a hint of the shooters intentions.
Where were the school police officers, SRO, school resource officers? Afterwards they said they had them?
At least they would be a deterrent, or even had stopped the kid before all hell broke loose, like just last week in that other state, with the SRO who shot the kid in the shoulder before he got off a shot to harm the rest of the students!
Something's gotta give.
Too many times we are enraged, and send our prayers and heartfelt concerns, and then nothing!
NOTHING HAPPENS!
We have gotta do better!
This is not how human beings should treat one another with lame promises of change and doing nothing!
Get those representatives on the job, after all we all pay their salaries, don't we? Call them!
