Enchanted looking forest of a time gone by...

Mystical and whimsical was our lovely accidental finding of a hidden park in our own backyard!

Less than two miles from our home are these Spanish moss ensconced trees.
It does seem there were many more such enchanted patches when we had arrived in Florida three plus decades ago.
Charming and foreboding nearly in unison, although I do enjoy their appearance of a time forgotten before we all arrived here, nearly prehistoric looking truly.
Just a cluster, a clump really, down a dirt road to nowhere; for we had to turn around due to no exit.
Hubby is the one who seemed to recall that it had been a park.
Now just a clearing with those magnificent conifers!
Sad to know that others may not have been as fortunate as to have made a wrong/right turn into our past.

Moving on...

Today was another busy day.
11:30 to one P.M. Red Lobster for luncheon and an informational talk about cremation, yup, a definite consideration.

Sometime after one Sam's Club for coffee, PAM and some of my over the counter meds. plus topping off the gas tank.

Around two thirty-ish on the way to my neuro's office for my check up and a discussion of newer symptoms and what to do for them.
Possibility of  IV Solu Medrol again, mixed emotions about that, but my call, and definitely another brain MRI, so I said maybe then if indicated.
I was wrong again I had my last MRI in 2017 not 2015, how soon we forget.
Even so I used to have them yearly and with symptoms it is prudent when two neurologists agree, the eye neuro guy and the regular neuro!
With our crazy schedule though a week away for fitting it in, oh well.

After leaving there we had an urge to check on the progress of the Allegiant's Sunseeker Resort here in Port Charlotte on Charlotte Harbor on twenty one acres there. It is to be right alongside the bridge we take to go over to River City AKA Punta Gorda, so this resort is within two miles of our home and that is why after the doc's we decided to see what we could see, many places, motels, stores and restaurants etc. have been closed since they were bought up by the airline, yes Allegiant Airlines is whom is building the resort. Cranes were also seen in place like giant dinosaurs ready to devour the site (s).
So I suppose progress is waiting in the wings?

Moving on...

We had passed a Kentucky Fried chicken dinner fast food place and even got on line for their drive thru, but when we saw that they wanted nearly $25 for a dinner, we pulled out of line and went to Publix around the corner and bought their dinner for the same things for about nine bucks savings!

We arrived home just in time for dinner.
So we ate.

Good happy night to all... and next time please be here or be square, ya hear!

Please never be shy to speak your mind too!
