Dog Whisperer?

Gosh, patience and a steady happy friendly person by the name of Sandy is at this moment grooming our little darling GUS!
No drugs just a delicate balance of calm.
Hubby took him in this morning and Sandy just played with Gus on the floor; making friends. He was told to go on home.
She told Hubby that she would call after her final pup was all done and if we didn't mind she would try to cut his hair without having to put him under.
Sandy told Hubby that Gus was just terribly frightened and her own rescue dog went through a similar problem, her's is a Bichon rescue, what a coincidence our Skipper who passed away last November was one too.
She is older than the young woman at the same location was, our veterinarian's office, Groves, and that person is no longer there.
Sometimes older people do have more patience, but not always.
If this works we will have high hopes for Gus's progress with socialization once it gets cooler.

This just in: slight glitch: Gus decided he was all done for the day so Sandy acquiesced to his choice and so Hubby and he are on their way home now. No real big problem I was told via cell, since he is three quarters of the way done and so he will be finished Monday.
That's still progress in anyone's book, true?

On that note of hope springing eternal, allow me to be the very first to wish all of you a very happy good night and ask you all to kindly count all your blessings and share all your overages with you know whom and we will too!

And next time please be here or be square, ya hear!
