Shooting in D.C. at 2:22 P.M., the
city was put on lock-down today, no one was shot though, just shots fired and an
injured police officer was life-flighted out of the scene by chopper due to
being hurt in a car chase, not shot… Possibly due to a woman driving with her child
in a car and she hit a barricade in front of the White House and drove away
towards the capitol building and a chase ensued… the woman was shot and killed by police,
the child was unharmed, no gun was found with the woman as of this writing…
Wouldn’t it be horrendous if
she was just another distracted driver that collided with an inanimate object
and got scared when she saw them all approaching her and took off?
Shots were fired, but by
whom?
What a mystery, hopefully
more information will come to light tonight…
PS we are still in a
government SHUTDOWN, day 3!
The ticker is turning12.5 million an hour we are
loosing; worse than the national debt at this rate… perhaps that’s what they
wanted, those GOP stubborners.
(Some more poetic licensing is a thunder, too nifty word creations inc.;
me!) Nice small business op; no
overhead, or is that low? Either is correct! It costs me nothing to say those
non-dictionary words as of yet they aren't and they are in the form of the lowest in
intellectual creativity.
That’s not right; it’s what
suits the situation more appropriately, in my biased opinion and ha!
Any-who, today was a little
of this and a little of that sort of stay at home day, domesticity at its
finest, cleaning, straightening, and with Hubby tackling the trimming of that
massive thorny fuchsia Bougainvillea framing over the Lanai.
Skipper had a little bit of a tummy
ache with vomiting today, but recovered nicely to share an apple with me later on, and
yes, it is veterinarian approved as well as his carrot consumption! Apples are
great for tummy aches and it is apple season after all and so we do share! He
is eating his dinner very nicely in the kitchen, as I write here tonight; all
better methinks!
There are so many things
doggies cannot eat that will make them sick, garlic, I know I used think it was
ok, baker’s chocolate, grapes, onions,
aspirin, this too we used think was alright, but no, etc. most people food… I’m
sure there are some that I forgot, and ones you know of too… Skipper still has that puppy habit of eating things outside that he shouldn't. I hope it wasn't something too unhealthy, no, it couldn't have been, since he is fine now!
They all should have great
quality pet food. I’m just saying with having a couple of ours living to 14 and
16, that’s all…!
Most days Skipper is like a
pup, energy wise and that’s terrific at 9.7 years old nearly!
That’s it for tonight and I sure hope this
incident isn’t the beginning of all those disgruntled employees going, dare I
say POSTAL? I pray not!
Let’s be civilized people!
On that note of decency
should reign supreme, let’s take the high road folks and allow me to be the
very first to wish all of you a very happy good night and ask you to kindly
count all your blessings and share those overages with you know who and we will
too!
And next time please be here
or be square, ya hear!
PS Name calling is a
non-violent action, but I am trying my darnedest to curtail that non-ladylike
behavior within me. And so should we all… I am running out of adjectives;
perhaps you have too? Ha!
