Today/this evening, I was
actually going to write more about what is not happening with our government’s
shutdown and fear of defaulting on this 13th day of it all.
Although, as we, Hubby and I,
both watched the NBC TV news show Meet the Press this morning we have been told
by many of the guests that it will all be resolved this week! They are just in
my opinion going down to the wire for a weird way of causing America to
wonder, WHAT THEY COULD BE THINKING.
And now that is out of the
way…
We all need a short respite
from this governmental reality…
So that is what we did, we, Hubby and I went over to
the Charlotte County Convention Center:
where they had Home and
Garden Show today and yesterday, and is always free.
It is a bi-annual event.
And I tried hard to get as many new ideas for you to
look at:
PremiereOutdoorKitchens.net has these incredible lighted bars and built-ins for truly amazing ‘wow’ factor outdoor entertaining. Or call 813-793-7510.
MattressDR.com showed the
newest cooling type mattresses at prices that were quite competitively priced
with standard ones. Call 813-889-9020. Diane and her son's friend who works at Google!
And the last but not least in
the one’s that I felt were a bit new and different since none had been there
before…was The Louver Shop with their product made in America!
The Convention Center is on
the beautiful Peace River in Punta Gorda Florida: Notice just another perfectly beautiful day in PARADISE!
Which is across from the convention center on the
same Peace River.
Where we ate lunch at our
favorite restaurant there, The Village Fish Market where you can dine in, in
air-conditioning or outside on the deck overlooking the river.
Not a bargain but good.
On that note to give you an
idea of how we try hard to get our minds off of the reality of what’s going on…
Allow me to be the very first
to wish all of you a very happy good night and ask you to kindly count all your
blessings and share all your overages with you know who and we will too!
And next time please be here
or be square, ya hear!
