Today we went out on our own little adventure into the wilds of Punta Gorda…FLORIDA!
Just over the bridge, at times you may remember me calling it River City, and so it is, since it resides on the beautiful Peace River.
The pictorial of our day starts with ATTITUDE and ends with a bit of HISTORY and I do believe that you will enjoy it all…
We arrived at Smuggler’s Restaurant at the end of Fisherman’s Village with a beautiful river view. Hubby and I both had Grouper sandwiches; his with coffee and mine with unsweet iced tea with lemons, all due to me being emailed a five dollar off coupon for there! We even stopped at the ice cream parlor, The Good Ole Days, in the complex too for delish ice cream, Hubby’s blackberry, mine chocolate mint chip, for us this is a yearly event!
We hadn’t been to Smuggler's in quite some time, but are members of their points club.
At Fishville today was also a crafts show and the below PICS show you a bit of it, and from there we drove over to Ponce De Leon Park where the Peace River Wildlife Center is and went through there as well….
We hope that you too enjoy our day, because we did!
On those high notes, allow me to be the very first to wish
all of you a very happy good night and ask you to kindly count all your
blessings and share all your overages with you know who and we will too!
And next time please be here or be square, ya hear!
