Red or Blue which are you, really?

Nah, that’s too personal I am told…that is discussing politics; although, you would never know it during an election year, hmm? For the next nearly four months we will be continued to be bombarded with those horrendous commercials defaming each candidate by whatever means one has to do the other injustice…

But it all makes me giggle a little that I can remember, when I was small that being red meant you were a communist, not a Republican, but being one of those means that you are usually conservative, but also means stop, and that being blue either meant you were sad or that if you were true blue you were honest, or moody blue, and a blueblood many might know now that it still means someone coming from wealth! While being blue in politics means you are in the common man or woman’s party, a Democrat and with that usually liberal in thoughts and deed.
How odd that color has represented so many different things over the years…

And if we go on to more of our primary colors, yellow means someone who is a coward, and as on a traffic sign or light it means caution, interesting…

Now green means GO, Go, Go and a newbie or recycler.
Not that exciting, hmm?

Pondering ideas is very nice and trying hard to make them relevant at times can be rather challenging…true?

But being that gal with too much time on my hands makes me do whatever I fancy to think about at any given time at this point in my life. And you have to admit something to think about?

I do so love my socially conscience friends on Facebook who have so many worthy causes proving they all have such good hearts.

Tonight, I put up one that Hubby noticed while we were eating our homemade delish burgers with corn topped with basil and extra virgin olive oil, as well as grilled zucchini and yellow squash. I switched to Hunts ketchup a while ago due to them not using any high fructose corn syrup in their product and now here’s another reason to use their product with their ‘Child Hunger Ends Here’ campaign, at childhungerendshere.com, just copy and paste to learn more.

All you have to do is buy any ConAgra Foods and then go to their site with the number on the container and they donate to the campaign from a portion of your purchase!

It is very stormy here as I write tonight, our usual.
Not timed exact yet, but pretty regular.

And so in closing I hope that I did somewhat entertain you with a bit of nonsense but also with some information to share with others and so now allow me to be the first to wish you a very happy good night and ask you kindly to count all your blessings and share your overages and we will too!

And next time please be here or be square, ya hear?
