Did you manage to stay cool?
I did our air-conditioning works fine.
Did you leave your home?
I did, that’s when I wore my cooling vest to stay cool. (Redundancy, at its finest!)
Geez, I wish I could disperse cooling vests for everyone, what a bunch of cool cats we would all be, huh?
Where did you go?
Nah, that’s none of my business unless you want to tell me of course?
While you think on that I will tell you where we went, to fill the void of quiet awkward pausing of your indecision, okay?
We left the house around eleven thirty A.M. to go to a big sale at an outlet store!
Ask me if I bought anything?
Well, since you asked, no I did not.
Why, you ask?
Because I didn’t see anything that struck me as purchase worthy, if you must know.
Just because its on sale doesn’t mean you have to buy it you know.
From there we took our old magazines over to the Cultural Center’s bookstore adjacent to the library to donate them again and they are thrilled for any reading material that you may have too. I believe that it all goes back to the non-profits in the complex.
I thought that we should see if some of the local stores had water lilies and the usual suspects were plum out and so we went onto a nice healthy lunch at Crispers where we hadn’t been in quite some time. It’s the soup and salad specialty place.
Moving on from there our next stop was at the warehouse store and to pick up some items that we find are more reasonable there than at the grocery at times, but sometimes that changes.
Today we bought Tilapia, soy crab, and a prepackaged stuffed cabbage that was actually low sodium and low fat and all you had to do was heat in the oven for twenty minutes, although I make pretty good ones myself, but this wasn’t bad. It became our choice for dinner along with mashed potatoes and string beans with mushrooms. Also purchased was a very large extra virgin olive oil as well as wine and a large box of black apricots, I know but they were giving out samples and they were delish, and we all know they are good for what ails you, bud dump bum! Who knows… really?
We topped off our gas tank too since their gas is always five to ten cents a gallon cheaper than the other main thoroughfare location, it was $3.52.9, wow!
And believe it or not it was over twenty bucks to purchase just 5.737 gallons about a quarter of our tank, but in this season, ‘Hurricane Season’, we made ourselves a promise to make sure that its kept full, just in case we have to evacuate.
When we arrived around two thirty P.M. to our home our dear sweet Skipper, he could not come with us due to where we were going. We were horrified to see that he had been ill while we were gone all over our small five by seven area rug in our living room and by our back door; although, he has been acting just fine since and has even eaten and has gone out to make as if nothing happened. And so we are crossing our fingers that perhaps whatever it was that got tossed out of his system literarily while we were not here was just that, tossed out of his system. What a sweetie! It hurts us when he’s ill almost like when our sons were sick as children, we feel his pain, since our four-legged ones are our babies too!
On that explicit rendition of our not too exciting but productive day... oh I am still waiting to hear or see on where you went for your days’ activities, where was that, huh?
And please write it down and send it to me in essay form or short notes sporadically dictated from whomever was your co-conspirator in your journey for the day, OKAY?
You see my inquiring mind never ever stops inquiring and I am a nosy gal to boot, and so since I tell you mine now; it’s only fair that I should know yours…it’s called sharing!
And all of you know how much I love to share here nightly with all of you.
On that extrication of meaning of what my life is to my fellow peeps allow me to be the first to wish you all a very happy good night and to ask you to kindly count those blessings and to share those overages and we will too!
And next time please be here or be square, ya hear?

Here's what I did today:
Walked Bubba at 6:00 am.
Came home, put up the coffee.
Showered, dressed, drank the coffee.
Put a load of laundry in the washer.
Watched a show I'd recorded last night.
Caught up with e-mails, facebook and some other sites I frequent.
Re-painted a watercolor painting that I wasn't happy with.
Put the laundry in the dryer.
Spoke to my cousin in NJ for 45 minutes.
Took the laundry out of the dryer. (But didn't fold it)
It was now 10:30 am
Gathered up materials for my folk song group that was coming here later.
Left to put gas in the car and add funds to my laundry card (the joy of condo living.)
Went to our internal restaurant and had eggs and bagel & more coffee. Read a book while eating.
Went to the gatehouse to give them a list of 20 people that were coming in and hoped they would get it right (they did!).
Went to the Rec building to put up signs to direct people to the right room.
Met the group leader who came early - went over the songs we were going to sing.
Had a great time singing from 2pm until 5pm. Great turnout and great musicians - lots of fun.
Took down the signs and went home.
Walked Bubba and had a 20 minute conversation with a neighbor about an issue that our condo owners are all in an uproar about - it's always something.
Returned phone calls I'd missed during the day.
Checked emails and facebook.
It's now 8pm and I'm starving - going to eat something right NOW!
Oh - and watch Crazy Heart on HBO.
Hope I gave you enough detail Tobi :)
