Temporary; till next time...
This evening they delivered my infusion equipment and medicine, 1000 MG of Solu Medrol, enough for three days and ten insulin shots; sure hope I don’t need all of those!
I also have more this and that’s that won’t get used but I was informed I was charged for them whether I use them or not; not unlike last years supplies which I still have quite a few left of too.
An ‘aha’ went off in my overly sleep deprived brain that they, that is whatever is left and last years extra supplies can be dropped off at the local Red Cross office for use for the tornado or flood victims. They should take them right? Hope so, don’t know unless you try, right?
By the time this is all done with on Friday, since the nurse is not coming until tomorrow, yep that’s right one more sleepless night… And gosh I was doing so well I have had all of six hours of sleep since Friday; or was that Thursday?
You see, although I called the doc first thing this morning 8:30 ish when her office opened, SHE/ her nurse did not send the FAX to order everything until 2 P.M., what can I say, for neurologists her price is right…Huh? But seriously I am between a rock and hard place; most neuros want your first born for payment and since mine is well grown into manhood at nearly forty (next year), I doubt if he would be a willing participant to be bartered with, nah…definitely NOT!
To the good the pharmacist at Walgreen’s Option Care did make it happen within very little time, you see they were also short on nursing staff, but they used a service for a few bucks more but the meds were less so now I am actually $51.28 less than last year, amazing and what a bargain… for this?
I rather have diner and a movie or go dancing or more like a short weekend cruise to an exotic place, yep it’s still $373.72 compared to $425!
But we live in an exotic place and it’s still too hot for me to even to go into my own backyard!
Well, see I still got it, got what you ask?
The power to complain…but of course!
On that ridiculous follow-up to my life on how it really is…
you asked, oh no you didn't!
Have some sweet dreams for me, since I won’t get any, sleep that is!
Night, night sleep tight don’t let the bedbugs bite…ooops well don’t stay at any hotels and you won’t, since we never have any of them in our sterile homes! Well, we don’t…
Have had everything else but not bedbugs yet…who would have thunk that cute little expression would become a nasty possibility?
Be happy, take care and may peace be with you and yours… a new ending, what do you think?
Remember I am sleep deprived and in a gnawing nasty, electric shocks, numbies painful martyr-ism situation here…
Sympathy please?
Speaking My Mind is about: Tobi, who is a middle aged, no, oh all right a slightly over the hill woman with all the imperfections that go with that, and this concerns her daily life's perceptions and experiences.
