Dancing as fast as I can in my mind of things that I want to do...

There is still so much that I want to do in my life.
And as I have always said where there is a will there is a way for anyone who truly has that desire.
The word ‘Logistics’ I always thought of as being the way that someone who was planning technical or complicated ways of doing important things in management or if in the military used in the respect of how to get their unit from point ‘A’ to point ‘B’ logistically speaking, step by step; or even just travel plans for us civilians, but I bet you all knew that.
That was not supposed to be used on transporting me from here to there and figuring out how the best way was to do that with the least amount of physical problems or stress or resistance.
My only true resistance is in the length of time these dreams take me to go from here to there, in other words getting there; to be exact, how long?

And so postponing trying to accomplish the last leg of this idea of doing what we should be doing at this point in our lives has been quite a point of contention with Hubby and me. Let me be the first to say that I definitely want to go here and there and with that meaning further than our five to ten mile radius that we currently exist in.
It has been nearly six years since we left the area to venture out more than our own backyard, literally! Well, not entirely true, since we have gone to two airports about fifty miles away in either direction and to my cousins twenty miles away too…
Money has been part of it, which we always seem to start to save and then an emergency comes up that we must pay for and luckily have been able to do. But it’s more than that it’s that above thingy how to maneuver me into a place that has all our needs met, and then there is Skipper we would never leave him with anyone and so the places we go must be dog friendly even if just for overnight and most we did notice since there are quite a few and these tell you that you must take your darling canine out whenever you go sightseeing, but none of those places allow him to go in either and he would be much better off nearby left in air-conditioning, huh? But me too, there’s that other problem my temperature problems.
Too hot and I am in agony, too cold and I also go into spasms, now what?
Logistics can mean so much more to someone like me.
And no I still have not given up; sure I would love to go to New Orleans and to the Atlanta Aquarium if only we can figure out those darn logistics!
The car ride would be very long but we could make frequent stops.
Air-fare for the three of us would not be cost effective with Skipper and then having to rent a car etc.
I am determined though and not complaining at all. Ha, I hear you all saying, of course you are!
It is good to think about happy fun ideas to do even if they never come to fruition.
Sadly those two states that contain those hot fun spots are only about a day away by car, so close but yet so far…

The world is in turmoil so taking short mental trips into happy thoughts are an essential must to maintain your sanity, huh?
Not to mention all the awful weather happening here in the United States with tornadoes and flooding and such, crazy nature at its worse once again!

Tonight I chose Paella to make for dinner, which for those not familiar with it, it is a spicy Mexican rice dish and basically works well with left overs like chicken and we had that sausage and shrimp too, great dish for a step up out of the rut type meal!
It was delish once again.
Nothing like stepping it up, at home or when you go out locally, try something different it can be rather cheerful and take you out of your own comfort zone.

On that more pleasant concept to leave you with in thought let me be the first to wish you all a very happy good night and to ask you kindly to count your blessings and share those overages and we will too!

And next time please be here or be square, ya hear?
