We did, and maybe you should too.
We are pretty much go out in the late morning or early afternoon type peeps.
But today we changed that up and left the home front after four thirty P.M.!
And we started our miniscule errands stopping at the grocery to pick up bleach and a gift card for Hubby’s Mom to put in her tomorrow sent out Christmas card.
Then we went over to the warehouse store to pick up coffee and water at their bargain prices and to renew our yearly membership that is up in three days, but not now we are good for another year!
Then on to the mall, oh yea that’s right we went there for the Menorah candle lighting ceremony that we had not been to before, and this was their fifth!
They had latkes with applesauce for a small donation, live music and games like dreidl, spin the top for those who don’t know what a dreidl is, for the children it was all very lovely!
After all that we caught a late dinner at the chain Italian restaurant (using Hubby’s gift card from one of the neighbor's gave him for his 60th birthday celebration) known for great soups salads and breadsticks, you all know the one.
And now we are home joyously pooped!
Good night to all and to all count those blessings and we will too!
Just the jolt I needed this holiday season, find your new norm!
Speaking My Mind is about: Tobi, who is a middle aged, no, oh all right a slightly over the hill woman with all the imperfections that go with that, and this concerns her daily life's perceptions and experiences.
