Tonight I did something that I thought would be useful…I updated my browser. Now logically to anyone who has a computer when we get these notices that a specific program needs to be updated, especially for safety purposes we usually do it, right?
But since this particular update was done we have been having nothing but problems, again. Example: it took over an hour to get this site up, and the update was supposed to make it easier not harder!
Any-who, that is what was happening for the last hour.
Well, I made up for last night’s disaster of a meal with a marinated London broil, hubby cooked indirectly on the grill with the baked potatoes, while I made homemade Cole slaw, yum, and it was! Sounds harder than it actually was, but these days I buy the already chopped tri-colored cabbage, and just add my own dressing.
PS Hubby declared that last night’s mess could go into the round outdoor file for such things.
Today has been rather quiet here, which I really can’t complain about.
Hubby did go down to the doc’s office to pick up more heavy duty pain meds for Casey, since we did a count yesterday and found out we didn’t have enough for the weekend.
I called in the request yesterday, and was told that they would call when it was ready, but they did not, and that made me angry. I thought that was very inconsiderate. The receptionist apparently has no idea what Casey and we are dealing with. Hubby called back this morning and they still never called us back, he called them since he was doing errands and wanted to include the pick up of the medication in that; especially since it is in the next town over, River City AKA Punta Gorda, and considerably out of the way.
I did my thrice pool exercise this morning, and unfortunately my left shoulder is acting up terribly and I thought that water exercise was good for my shoulder? Everything I do is gentle and under the very warm 88 degree water, and yes the mornings have fluctuated to warmer air numbers, mid to high eighties, not such a big contrast for me from the pool water, much better.
What I usually do is three twenty minute exercise segments and rest out of the water in between for about ten minutes each break. Since I don’t use the pool on the weekends that much my shoulder has two days to recuperate, I hope. I am listening to my body and right now it says….your tired so…I will bid you all a good night, take care, be safe, and count those blessings and I will try to find mind, but later, OK?
Speaking My Mind is about: Tobi, who is a middle aged, no, oh all right a slightly over the hill woman with all the imperfections that go with that, and this concerns her daily life's perceptions and experiences.
