My day today was blah, blah, blah and I suppose that should be considered boring.
Oh wait a minute the word blah is used when describing talking and no, not too much of that was done today.
Yep, I checked that’s when it’s used for non important words or talking.
Boy isn’t language great; we even have a word for not talking?
But sometimes even when we speak the same language we still get misunderstood, odd how that is?
Interpretation is how the mind accepts the information going in and then turns it back into an acknowledgement of whatever has been said. We react to most verbiage with a response to verify or with some other form of body language perhaps a smile or nod if in agreement or a shake of the head or a frown if not.
Words are remarkable and so are we as humans, does anyone but me think it is extremely interesting how on earth we all learned to communicate and then screw it up in our modern civilization so badly that we go to war because of it?
Day after day we open our mouths to utter a daily sound of a compilations of whatever our brain figures we are trying to noise into our environment to be noticed as thinking relevant beings, amazing, I say!
The process is something most of us take for granted it is done not always with much thought and that is usually what I do…speak without thinking so that is why I do say I have foot in mouth disease.
But to be fair many of us do have this problem.
Consequences of these unabashed uncensored commentaries are on occasion entertaining but can be treacherous and inflammatory to whomever you may be speaking within any given moment.
So mouthers beware.
We are a breed amongst not too many others in this day and age of conformity.
Some people actual do come with built in censoring machines, and at times that makes me jealous, but wary.
How can one trust someone who is too careful with the words that the Merriam Webster gave us to use?
Life is dangerous and one must take chances to make it interesting I say!
So fling those nouns, adjectives adverbs etc. all over the air fronts since they are not tangible polluters although they can pollute if a little dirty, be respectful of those surrounding us is all I will say.
I do believe I heard somewhere that sleep deprivation could be compared to cocaine use, and with my many sleepless nights maybe I will gain the ability to become a great writer like Poe or King?
Nah, I would really prefer sleep and write like me however that is.
Onward I say!
Try to be great in my own teeny non-penmanship world.
So without a pen is it still mightier than the sword?
Sort of like the tree falling in the forest with no one there does it still make a sound?
That’s all gibberish; I told you all that I was sleep deprived.
So sorry that tonight’s Blogging was more like clogging, hah, I made a funny, but that’s the way I feel confused and exhausted.
So I will bid you good night to all and to all count those blessings and I will too.
Speaking My Mind is about: Tobi, who is a middle aged, no, oh all right a slightly over the hill woman with all the imperfections that go with that, and this concerns her daily life's perceptions and experiences.
