I put the flap back the best I could being a righty, and this was my right hand that had been injured. Paper-thin skin was caught on a nail on 3/13/25 when Hubby was in the Uber leaving for the hospital for his bladder mass removal, which was most likely cancer, so of course, I said nothing to him, but it was awful just the same! This cut is very scary to me. I have been covering it with a large enough bandaid and have been keeping it clean and applying polysporin. Scary looking cut, and it did feel like my skin was being peeled right off of me! The location is right above my right wrist.
The picture is from today, so if it's not better or doesn't stop bleeding at the periphery, I will ask to see a doctor.
I don't know what they can do at this point. Adjust the flap?
There would be less scarring then. Who cares about that with a nearly 75-year-old lady? I have, already, too many to count scars.
Would any other ideas be most helpful?
I did have a Tetanus shot for these things not too long ago, within the last six months.
Let me introduce you to the crew...
Lastly, moving on to who they are, our crew...
