Hubby goes for his first radiation treatment for the brain cancer/tumor today. When we were there Monday, they made a head contraption first that has to do with the location of his two little tumors.
Ironically, I quit smoking nearly nineteen years ago, and Hubby stopped over eleven years ago! While he continued to smoke, he was kind enough to do it outside. Even though I had pleaded with him to stop... the more I asked him to, the more he said NO! So I stopped asking, pretty much, although I did become allergic to the smell. So far, with all my ills, I have not had cancer, only skin-related issues related to too much sun due to living in Florida. Walking out the door causes that!
This article from Johns Hopkins explains the reasons for radiation primarily for Hubby's brain tumors. His are small and there are two. But he is on Keytruda for life and has that every three weeks by infusion, XTANDI daily, and OGORVYX daily too.
Let me introduce you to the crew...
Lastly, moving on to who they are, our crew...
