We chose this day because I wanted good luck on the closest day to Hubby's grandparents' wedding. Their 50th anniversary was February 16th, 1970, and they married in 1920. Our wedding planning did take a year. Below is us on Feb. 14, 1971, our wedding day!
Sadly, our fiftieth anniversary was during COVID-19, Feb. 14, 2021! So we did not celebrate at all or since. That is until...TODAY!
Hubby did decide to celebrate this morning with two lovely cards and a winding-up music box that uses a crank, an old school idea, and plays, "I can't help falling in love with you!" Also a beautiful necklace! We are going out to lunch! I have an ENT follow-up appointment near the restaurant, and then we have two of my prescriptions to pick up after the doctor's appointment, my face is puffy even with the two prescriptions of steroids. One for my nose 2x a day and my throat 3x-4x a day!Hopefully, his depression about the return of his cancer has taken a less end-of-the-world turn and hopefulness has risen about his treatment!
It worked before so why not again?
Let me introduce you to the crew...
Lastly, moving on to who they are, our crew...
