Okay, I just got off of the turn table called AI answering for medical facilities!
I kept telling the scheduling AI that I found something on my skin that looked not right and that the dermatologist needed to see it to make sure it was not another skin cancer!
I had an appointment for a checkup on January 7 at 11:15 A.M. I tried to explain to the AI that I needed to be seen sooner but it kept saying the reschedule was for January 27th! No matter what I would say even wanting my old day and time back since it was newer and closer than Jan 27th! It had no earlier date available to me or it kept saying it could not book it sooner! I had a near meltdown by repeating "Speak to a human" loudly as if that would help!!! And it did...
And finally, Jolene, a human answered the call and scheduled me for tomorrow afternoon!
Frustration should not have to happen for medical personnel to step in, I much prefer a human to AI for these situations.
Why should getting crazy work?
